Rosewill RHPM-11001 Universal Projector Mount

Pros: Easy to add the projector to and mount onto the ceiling

Cons: The tilt bolt is not adequate, cannot get the projector to be level so there is not a horizontal tilt.

You can tighten the bolt to the max and the projector weight will tilt. Until they fix this I can't recommend this, ended up buying a different one - hope that's better.

Pros: Well designed, simple to fix and looks very good. As some one already pointed out the hight is around 5 inch instead of 11 inches specified.

Cons: Tilt is not that firm unless otherwise tightened both the side knobs

Other Thoughts: I used it for Acer H5360, which fits well. You need 16mm M3 screws to fix 3mounting holes which were not provided in the box. I used these screws to fix 3 mounts with a washer and also used 4 leg into camera stand hole using one of the screws provided in the box with a washer.Acer projector come with a nice pattern when press and hold Menu button, use that to match the screen size to locate the distance before mounting to the ceiling. This helped me to locate the distance from the screen.

Cons: No fault on Newegg’s part but I called the manufacture and there teck department assured me that the height from celling to the projector was 11.18 inch actual height is only 5.25 inch

Cons: - Did not fit my Acer projector. I had to find my own screws laying around the house and I somehow got it to fit.

Pros: High gloss finish

Cons: May not include necessary screws to connect to your projector.
Tilt adjustment is ineffective, as the plastic knobs slide easily along the painted steel.

Other Thoughts: This mount is good if you're able to evenly distribute the weight of your projector under this unit and have spare M5 bolts lying around. For TRULY universal mounting options, pick a different model.

Pros: Purchased with an Acer H6500 projector. Installation was easy. The mount is sturdy and has a solid feel. You cannot go wrong with this item and the price you are paying. Will buy again.

Pros: Excelent construction. Solid, stays where its supposed to. Comes with more than enough screws. Well worth the money.

Cons: Only thing that could be better is a vertical height adjustment.

Little wobbly, but once its set up and in place there is no need to move it at all so its not an issue.

Other Thoughts: Bought this to replace my original ceiling mount that had a long arm. the old one dropped the projector down too far from the ceiling. This one is a great replacement as it's much lower(higher?) profile. :)

its only flaw is that the arms aren't big enough to reach all the contact points on my projector. luckily I used a couple pieces from my old mount and made it work by extending the existing arms. Keep this in mind if your projector isn't compact.

Pros: Incredibly simple unit with the quickest set up I have been able to find. It works with my NEC, Infocus, BenQ, & Optima projectors. Comes preassembled so 5 minutes to mount to your projector. Has instant removal option for replacing bulb. Universal joint gives unlimited adjustment positioning when we mounted brackets across overhead ceilings to mount into and no problem even at right angles. Can't say enough good about this little, but sturdy unit.

Cons: Ease of use also means ease of theft, since two twists of the hand screws and the unit is yours. Best to cable in for security.
