4 out of 5 eggsWorks but received in resealed box

Pros: Supports mounting of two displays, side-by-side.

Cons: Received a repackaged item with several resealed boxes inside. Looks like I received someone else's return. Not worth the trouble of requesting an exchange though.

Other Thoughts: Did not find any missing pieces that will affect setup.

3 out of 5 eggsSturdy, but has issues.

Pros: The description says it holds an Apple 27" display, and it does! Those things are heavy, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it take the weight. Thankfully I only have one Apple display and a very light 27" ViewSonic next to it, because I'd be even more wary of this toppling over.

Cons: It only held my Apple display for ~3 months. Every other week or so, I would have to nudge the display up as it had a very slight tendency of drooping. Today, I performed my ritual and heard a loud snap, and now it feels like the tension screw for the monitor swivel has stripped. I guess it's off to the RMA form.

4 out of 5 eggsDual monitor desktop stand

Pros: Very well made as it is holding two pretty heavy ASUS 27 inch monitors. Looks very nice with minimal hardware showing from front of monitor. Able to gain lots of valuable desk space and able to put monitors at pretty much any eye level.

Cons: Not the easiest to setup, as you need to lock into place with a allen wrench. A bit difficult to get two monitors lined up perfectly. Designed to be setup and locked in place. For that purpose it works well.

Other Thoughts: Very nice product as it hold two heavy monitors and looks very nice. Cleaned up my desk. Cannot be used for more than 2 monitors.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Sturdy, fits 2 27" monitors with some space between them .

Cons: Cost a little high, even with the discount. 149 wasn't too bad. I bought 2.

Other Thoughts: Purchased 2, currently holding 4 27 inch monitors. Very easy to install and adjust. Seems very sturdy and high quality.

5 out of 5 eggsSturdy and Quality

Pros: - Aluminum material
- Structurally sturdy when tightened
- Looks great
- I didn't have to poke holes in my apartment walls

Cons: - The vertical adjustment isn't independent and is a bit of a pain to raise/lower.
- At full price, would be nice if it had some additional wire management. Not that big of a deal though.
- I didn't think about distance from wall to desk (see Other thoughts)

Other Thoughts: I will say first off that this mount is high quality. If tightened properly, I certainly don't worry about my monitors falling off. Once in position and fully tightened, the monitors act like they are tent-staked to the desk when bumped.

I purchased two 27" monitors to fit on this stand and they fit without a problem. I was actually surprised to see a gap in between the two monitors when fully extended to the sides (about 2-4 inches). Since I am pretty OCD, I have to have the monitors as close to each other as possible. Since there is very little room between my desk and wall, the elbows of the arms push the monitors forward when squeezing the monitors together. It's not a big deal since it is on a Galant desk, but it does make me feel a little too close to the monitors.

Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Equipment

Pros: Solidly built, clamps tightly on the table. Have not had it budge on me this past several months.

The arms do not take much back space, and can be folded very neatly against the monitor to avoid sticking out like someone with bad manners at the dinner table.

Cons: The "wire management" consists of weaving the wires through the arm (not too bad) and a plastic clamp on the trunk of the arm (not to enthusiastic about since I plan on keeping this equipment for years to come)

Other Thoughts: Overall, the "wire management" issue is a trivial concern. I think I have more issues with my pet rock than this contraption.

If you want to, buy this and keep it for one monitor, with the potential for upgrading to dual monitors; I did.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid, but could us a few improvements

Pros: Sturdy, good looking, solid, well-built, easy to assemble, helps to regain desk space, all aluminum construction.

Cons: Silver. Requires allen wrench to adjust swivel tension. No individual vertical adjustment. Thick monitor mounting brackets.

Other Thoughts: Bought this to mount two 23.6 inch monitors of different brands. It works, plenty of horizontal mobility and adjustment for the monitors except that there is no vertical adjustment for the individual monitors. Therefore, one of my monitors is about 1.5 inches higher than the other. This wouldn't be an issue if both of my monitors were identical. Also, each joint must be adjusted with an allen wrench to the appropriate tension where you can move the monitors, but they aren't moving on their own. Not a big deal, but with 10 different allen head set screws it gets a little tedious. In addition, the arms aren't constructed as "left" and "right." There's only one type, and therefore, when assembled, some of the set screws face towards the front and some face towards the rear, which makes it a little more of a pain to adjust the arm tension than it should be. A set of thumbscrews for the arms would be a welcome improvement over the allen wrench situation. Also, be warned, the aluminum brackets used to attach to the monitors are very thick. The included thumbscrews intended to attach the bracket to the monitor were not long enough for one of my monitors, and just barely long enough for the other one. I had to go to my local hardware store and pick up some longer M4 metric hex head screws. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of. Overall, I think this is a solid, well-built product, but a few additional design changes would greatly improve the product.
