3 out of 5 eggsGood for the price, has its flaws.

Pros: Solid construction overall. At the end of the day, it holds monitors. Good movement.

Cons: The hinge that would normally let you sway the monitor side to side is weak for vertical mounting of monitors. I have a landscape Dell U2412m and a portrait Samsung 216BW. I have to tighten up the joint on the Samsung frequently as it tends to tilt down after a week or so, if I touch it. Stationary it does fine.

Other Thoughts: Decent product for the money considering it's not $200+, I'd suggest this mount if you don't have super high expectations and if you are just looking for some desk space.

2 out of 5 eggsnot a fan

Pros: *holds my 27" monitors with no problem after tightening

Cons: *lame customer service
*centerpiece does not stay in place

Other Thoughts: I would love this for the price I got it for if it wasn't for the center mount not staying in place. If you are expecting to have your monitor stand set up like the picture shown prepare to be disappointed. there is one tightening mechanism on the center clamp that is supposed to hold it up and down the pole but fails miserable in doing so. you can muscle your clamp up the pole and have the monitors be held but as soon as you adjust one monitor the entire thing falls down like a woodpecker toy because it isn't attached firmly enough to the pole. also because of the center clamp not staying in place if you move one monitor towards you the other moves back.
Contacted customer service because I wanted to get a digital copy of the manual for my library of manuals but they didn't even have record their own manuals. The guy who I was speaking with just directed me to a newegg youtube video that wasn't even the same model and said to just watch it! Rosewill's excuse is that they don't actually manufacture their own branded products so that's why they couldn't give me accurate information. What a joke! expect to get no help if you ever lose something critical to your rosewill product because it might actually be Chinese.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Dual Monitor

Pros: The stand is very substantial, a solid piece of equipment. Once adjusted the arms move with ease allowing for easy monitor adjustment. Style wise they look phenomenal with easy cable management.

Cons: A little heavy making install and transport a little bothersome. But once installed is not a problem at all.

Other Thoughts: If I move to a wide 4 screen set up this would definitely be at the top of the list as to what I would buy as a second stand.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Dual Monitor Stand

Pros: Although not mentioned on the newegg spec page, this unit can be clamped OR can be installed through the standard hole found in most desk (I actually made a small 3/8" hole on my workbench to accommodate it). I love that you can increase or decrease the height on the pole, unlike on my Ergotron dual mount. I am very pleased with the Rosewill unit and having purchased it on sale was worth every penny. The regular price of this unit is about half that of the similar Ergotron. I would not hesitate to recommend this unit to my clients. I deducted one star because of a number little issues I think should have been addressed, but overall it is a very good design.

Cons: Although I think it has a great bang for the buck (more so when on sale), I had a few minor issues which I think warrant mentioning. The pole screws into the base and despite having tightening screws on the base, the pole still has a little wiggle to it. Also, I was not able to prevent the pole from rotating in the base when I would try adjusting the position of the monitors from near to away. The securing screws should have been a little longer to make it possible to secure the pole firmly (I will replace the screws). Finally, the securing mechanism for the bracket assembly (the arms) is badly placed. I wish it would have been placed a little lower, since it gets in the way of one of the arms if you try moving the monitor FAR away from you (it only needed to be about 2mm lower and it would no longer be in the way), but you can install it back to front, putting the securing mechanism in plain view... So if you need that range of motion, you can get it by sacrificing esthetics (a small design change could have resolved this issue by lowering it 2mm, hopefully addressed in the 2.0 version). Note that it only comes with two size (girth) VESA screws. Last thing, one of my monitors is ultra thin and the supplied screws were too long so I could not use them on that monitor (but for 99% of monitors you should be fine), so I had to use my own screws for that monitor. Although my cons list is long in my opinion they are all minor things, but I thought they were worth mentioning as an FYI.

Other Thoughts: In many ways I am more pleases with this unit then my similar Ergotron unit, and given the regular price is already half that of the Ergotron, and that at sale price it is even more affordable, it is a great alternative. I have a few minor complaints about the unit, but not enough to dissuade me from buying it. Despite my list of complaints, I would still recommend this unit for anyone seeking a dual arm desk mount.
