1 out of 5 eggsThis is a truly terrible product

Pros: Affordable

Cons: Two key issues: the monitors at the lowest setting sit too high; also the left monitor was tilted and there was no adjustment for that to be adjusted

4 out of 5 eggsWorks with 22" widescreens

Pros: I'm typing this review on my array of three Dell U2212H's mounted on the Ergotron. Ergotron's tech support swore this wouldn't work, but they are *just* narrow enough to fit. Recommended for your surround/eyefinity setup, or just getting more pixels for productivity.

Cons: My U2212H's are a little too light. This was to be expected, as they are well below the weight range specified by the manufacturer. Still, with this product is due for an update to reflect the weights and widths of modern monitors.

This isn't a big deal, it just means they won't do all the way low, but I don't use them that low anyway.

Other Thoughts: The only solution for mounting three monitors and keeping tilt and height adjustments. Three 1080p displays, plus this stand cost about as much as one 27" monitor, but deliver almost 70% more pixels. Nice!

5 out of 5 eggsVery sturdy! Good Quality.

Pros: Very well built. Bottom legs are made of a hard graphite. This is a good thing. Only 4 screws to complete in stand installation. Individual packs are supplied for each monitor to mount...A++ for this.

Cons: Back leg is made of ABS plastic. This is even called out in the instructions that it can break. I guess it would if you abused it.

Other Thoughts: Stand is top heavy with one monitor. If you are going for a triple display then put the middle monitor on first then rest the bottom of the second monitor on a box or something. Once all monitors are in place you can move them around all day without any tipping. Desktop footprint (base of the unit) is amazingly smaller than expected.

1 out of 5 eggsLost half a tooth

Pros: It's large and can hold 3 24" monitors, but only in PORTRAIT mode.

Cons: Right side monitor higher than the other matching two, Super heavy. The preset tension on my model was already set so high when I had the wrench in to adjust it as I tested it, something inside snapped, crashed down and the wrench was ejected and broke a front tooth. Will be RMA'ing and sending dental bill to Ergotron.

Other Thoughts: The bar in the back is nice idea, which is what drew me to it but there is no "fine tuning" the placements of the monitors when side by side to get it super tight of the than one slightly overlapping the other. If you have 3 22-24" monitors and want to make a super large screen, get a a different monitor stand, with more range for the adjustments.

1 out of 5 eggsSturdy but doesn't work

Pros: I've Purchased other Ergotron products before and was quite happy, so much so that I ordered 3 of this product. When I opened the product, I was impressed with the sturdy nature.

Cons: The trouble came setting it up. The first thing I noticed was the really bad instructions. visual aids only go so far, and any explanations left little to be desired. After putting everything together and installing the brand new monitors I bought at the same time, it got worse!! This has screw type adjustments that come with a special Allen wrench. After turning forever until tight the up and down position still did not hold. Next I tried the back and forth adjustment, same thing, it doesn't hold. I called the manufacturer who said my new monitors were not heavy enough!! Now when I choose monitors, I think about everything else but weight!!

Other Thoughts: I ended up sending all three back because of adjustment issues. My question is, why build a product for monitors that doesn't meet todays standards?

4 out of 5 eggsSturdy yet stationary...

Pros: Very sturdy

Cons: Base is a little big...1 arm for all so you can't swing monitors around to show others something you are working on...

Other Thoughts: This is the perfect stand for someone solely focused on increasing productivity.

1 out of 5 eggsNot for 30-inch monitors

Pros: Well packaged.

Cons: The stand is not built well enough to handle two 30-inch monitors. While the specs state it can take up to 48 lbs, the brackets that hold the individual monitors cannot handle a 20 lb monitor. I could not get my Dell 30-inch monitors (20.4 lbs each) to be level because the monitor brackets twisted under the weight.

This stand also requires a substantial amount of desk space. I expected a large base in front of the monitors, but I did not expect the long extension behind the monitors. The stand pushed my monitors a good 6 to 8 inches farther off the back wall of my desk than my stock Dell monitor stands. This stand really eats-up a lot of desk space.

The back leg of the monitor stand does not have rubber feet on it, so it marred my desk. There are several rubber feet on the stand, but the back two feet are just rough plastic.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this stand for 30-inch monitors or any monitors that push the weight limits.

4 out of 5 eggsOverall A Nice Product

Pros: The stand is very well constructed, heavy, but feels very solid. Have no reservations about hanging my monitors on it. Was quick to assemble. Stand looks very professional looking. Height adjustment is a big plus for me.

Cons: Double check the monitors you are purchasing to make sure they meet the minimum weight requirements for this stand. The tension system is a spring, so if you don't have enough weight on the stand you wont be able to position the monitor height (even with the lowest tension setting). I didn't read closely enough, so the 20" Asus monitors I bought were too light.

I was able to work around this issue by adding some weights to the height adjustment column. Not ideal, but it works.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Holds three 22" widescreen LCD monitors (be sure to measure first). The stand is sturdy and heavy enough to where it will not tip over.

Cons: The two front feet of the base protrude a little more than I would prefer, but overall it is not a problem. This is just a personal preference. YMMV
