Pros: Very sturdy construction. Feels solid, not flimsy. Once attached the monitor only moves when you want it to. Holds my 19 inch monitor without problems. Nice subdued looks.
Cons: Installation was a little hard but it was mostly because of my desk configuration.
Other Thoughts: The first thing that struck me was how much desk space this clears up. The clamp uses up a very small footprint at the back of the desk. I can get the monitor in a position which would have required it to be smack in the middle of my desk if I didn't have this arm. The sheer sturdiness of the setup is also very nice. An earthquake would not dislodge this monitor. If you look at your computer screen every day this is a great buy.

Pros: I have this rigidly bolted into a table top near the corner so it can swing out over my lap as I sit in my recliner. It only required one hole to be drilled in the table and all parts were provided. It was a snap to install with an ASUS VW266H Black 25.5" flat screen monitor. Very adjustable. Very comfortable to use. It does exactly what I bought it to do.
Cons: The threads on the end of the stanchion (pole?, post? upright?) that the arm pivots on are very shallow, fine threads where they thread into the base. I would like to have seen coarse threads for strength but its not a big deal. My monitor is only a couple pounds under the rated max. It was not very rigid in the base, depending on set screws to lock the threads. I had some worries about the threads pulling out until I took it apart, cleaned it and cemented it back in with some super glue gel. This glue is strong but if you ever need to disassemble the stanchion from the base, it will release with a medium high source of heat like a good hairdryer and not damage anything. It took me longer to type this than to fix it better than it was to begin with. A big LCD monitor is an expensive thud when it hits the floor. Most of this CON was probably my own aynal nature and so easily fixed I still gave it 5 eggs.
Cons: Possible that the cable management could have been executed better.
Other Thoughts: I have owned a few different monitor mounting arms and own three of these, they are without a doubt the most solid pieces of hardware I own. It might seem like they have a high price tag, but they are well worth it. Especially if having multiple monitors arranged appropriately is necessary.
