1 out of 5 eggsWaste of money

Pros: Nicely made, quality parts paired with porr design and the

Cons: Poor design and the complete lack of adjust-ability makes this on the costliest single computer "accessories" I have ever purchased. I can go on forever. I will spare you details, don't waste your money.

Other Thoughts: Gave this one egg only because its not possible to give '0' eggs

1 out of 5 eggsVery Disappointing

Pros: I trade securities for a living and have a number of trading workstations set up in my home. Recently I purchased my 4th Triple Monitor Ergotron stand, and it will be my last. These newly designed stands are just not the quality of the old. There are NO pros. None.

Cons: The newest designs have two major flaws from older ergotron stands I own: 1. The mounts have been redesigned. The old mounts allowed for both vertical or horizontal adjustment of individual monitors. The new mounts either allow for no vertical, and force you into a 4 degree tilt horizontal on the outer mounts. Or, you can reverse that effect if desired by electing a 4 degree tilt up or down vertically, with no tilt horizontally. But either way, these are not desirable choices. AND 2. The arms are of lower quality and can not support the weight of even the lightest monitors, causing the monitors on the end to droop. The net result of these two issues is the the center monitor looks ok, but the outer two monitors are tilting and drooping down, causing you to read text at a slant.

Other Thoughts: Another issue bugs me about all my ergotron stands. The base is massive, large footprint on the desktop. You'd think they'd design it in such a manner that it would be convenient to sit things on the base. But, no. They make it a curved shape which renders that space on your desktop near worthless. These issues are absolutely maddening. I am extremely upset with Ergotron. They have taken an unbelievably arrogant approach to product design, giving the user minimal flexibility in how they want to view their monitors. Instead, dictating to their customer how the stands are to be used. I could live with the base, although it perturbs me greatly. But the changes they have made to the arm and mounts are horrid. Save your money. Buy a different brand. I would not recommend this product to either friends, or family.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Stand

Pros: This stand is excellent quality and comes with the parts to attach to any standard VESA monitor. Assembly was straightforward and my three monitors are held great.

Cons: You CAN NOT use this stand with two monitors; it's weighted for monitors of equal size on each arm. You also need a friend or a long table to assemble it, since it will tip over while you're in the process of putting the monitors on the mount.

Other Thoughts: I decided to go with three monitors on a whim and after setting things up, I'm not embarrassed to have people over to my house. If you're not landing planes or purchasing for a business, ask yourself: do I REALLY need three monitors?

4 out of 5 eggsJust a tiny bit pricy

Pros: Holds my three ASUS VH226H's ( 21.4" ); easy to set up; light weight ( comparatively ); solid construction; pretty :)

Cons: Just BARELY holds my three VH226H's; all monitor placement is configured at setup, and not easily adjustable. You pretty much have to disassemble and reassemble the unit to change angles, etc. The only 'on the fly' adjustment you can make is to the total height of the mounting arm, and that can be difficult when it's supporting the full weight of three monitors ( be careful! ). While a great unit that I'm happy with, I wish it had been a little cheaper.

Other Thoughts: Compared to the unknown brand of stand I have at work for my triple monitor display, this unit is lightweight, and has a smaller footprint on desktop real estate. It feels like it's made out of higher grade components, thicker metals and heavier bolts.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks very nice, and has a great "wow" factor.
Fit my three new 20.1" monitors (1600x1200) just fine.

Cons: NOT ADJUSTABLE! You can not set the viewing angle of the side panels!!! The deisgn of this is very poor as the outer edges of the monitors are thus much farther away then the center. The fixed angle is only about 15 degrees, and it should be more like 35 degees. This drove me crazy, and hence it has been returned. (actaully I bought it from DELL because Newegg was out of stock).

Other Thoughts: Save your money and buy a monitor with a good adjustable stand. I was really looking forward to this setup, but was very disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: I have this set up so that there is one 30" display in the middle and two 20" displays in portrait on either side and the result is sheer perfection. Never have I been more satisfied with my visual experience than with displays mounted on this stand. Solid build quality (METAL components).

Cons: Set up can be a bit tricky, at least in my arrangement. Putting on one side monitor will cause the array to tip until the opposing monitor is installed as a counter-weight. This is simple enough if you enlist another's help.

Other Thoughts: Wouldn't want to be without it.
