ERGOTRON 45-241-026 LX Desk Mount LCD Arm

Pros: I'd been looking into monitor arms for almost a year, and finally settled on the Ergotron. And yes, it's as good as the feedback suggests. It's versatile, takes up minimal room and has a strengthy grip without any sag. I've used monitor arms at work before that would droop over time, but the Ergotron has held up with my 23" monitor.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I've had it for a year now, and I'm just as content as the day I got it.

Pros: Has a nice finished look, very minor adjustments needed, all tools included to install

Cons: wish I had more

Other Thoughts: is it just me or can i not move my monitor around with 1 hand? and is it kinda hard to move the monitor down but effortless to move up

Pros: These monitors are easy to set up and have wonderful range of movement ... Usually monitor arms require constant tightening however these i have not tightened once or when the desk shakes i don't have to "adjust them" ... Perfect product

Other Thoughts: Once you buy this monitor arm you will never use the "default" stand again ...

Pros: Compact and nicely finished.
Standard VESA mount.
All the tools you need to assemble and adjust are included.
Functions extremely well with a Samsung 27 in LED monitor (S27B550V)
Range of motion and placement options are boundless.
The clamp is sturdy but I drilled a hole in my desk to use the alternative mounting method.

Pros: This thing is GREAT!!! Very well made and strong. It works exactly as described. I can't say enough about this. It's worth every penny. Also it arrived two days early. Thank you NewEgg and Ergotron.

Cons: The installation instructions could be better but once I figured out how to assembly it, it was a snap to install. This is just a small "con" and I would recommend to anyone reading this. So anyway it gets 5 stars.

Pros: The number one pro for me right now is that this sucker came in 2 days early (3 day shipping and it was overnight). I mean, I didn't get an email with tracking information until after I already received it...

Now, as far as the arm goes... phenomenal. I don't need to sit here and explain how many positions you can put it in because you can watch a video on that. What I will tell you is that this holds my 27" IPS monitor WITH tempered glass with ease. For anyone whose interested, I'm working with an Achieva Shimian and the approximate weight is BARELY under 20lb.

Cons: None. But then again, I love this thing so much that I had to write a review before I've even had it for a while...

Other Thoughts: When I first set it up, I realized that the arm just simply would not hold my monitor up. After plenty of frustration (considering the directions are literally picture only) I did a youtube search and found someone explain how to tighten the arm to hold heavier monitors -- I feel this is something a previous reviewer addressed but did not find the solution for (if you tilt the monitor so it faces down, it will expose a bolt inside the arm that you tighten if your monitor is a heavy one like mine).

Pros: -This thing is a beast. The pictures in the item description do not do it justice. It's heavy, stable, durable, and has a nice brushed aluminum look to it (rather than the cheap chrome look that I thought the pictures conveyed). The aluminum pieces are cast aluminum and well designed.
-Simple to assemble without instructions, though the instructions seemed to be adequate; front page for assembly, back page showed how to adjust the tension.
-Holds my 27" ASUS VG278H without issue, and quite stable, though I did increase the tension some. This monitor is over the recommended size, and probably pushing the weight limit.
-I can pull the monitor out almost flush with the front edge of the desk -Nearly 30" from the back edge- while gaming or watching video, yet push it back to within 6" of the back edge.
-I get the immediate feeling that this thing will last forever.

Cons: None that I have found.

Though I am now eyeing other items sitting on my desk, pondering how I am going to move/mount them out of my way as well.

Other Thoughts: One of those things that after finally breaking down and getting it, you wonder why you waited so long. Definitely worth the investment, although it was cheaper a week ago when I ordered it.
The ability to move the monitor around at will and the benefit to having it always at eye level are some incredible things.
As others have stated, if your computer and surge protector are not relatively close to your monitor, you are going to need longer cables.

Pros: Strong, adjustable, balanced, stylish, and stays where I put it. Easy to assemble.
I think it will have a career as long as Ryan's.

Cons: Just a little difficulty hiding the cords, but it's not worth deducting an egg.

Other Thoughts: I have two of these, and both are models of quality engineering. My monitors (27" LCDs) move smoothly to where I want and stay there. No play in the joints. Clamps open fairly wide.
