Other Thoughts: It holds my 27 inch IPS panel very nice. I believe it is solid enough to hold up to a 30 inch. I am very happy with my purchase.

Pros: Very solid. Good adjustment range. stays put and is reasonably easy to make adjustments. Looks pretty good

Cons: Is not quite great with 24 in monitors. Probably not made for it but they are certainly light enough and that is what everyone is buying. The arm segments need to be a few inches longer. Still, for most people I still think it will work fine for larger monitors. Somewhere to stick the Allen wrench on the stand would be appreciated. Lost them both. :(

Other Thoughts: While nowhere does it say these are shiny metal, I was still mildly disappointed that the finish was not more metallic looking. A nice brushed nickle or stainless finish would have made me ecstatic. Black would be ok...with some nice stainless metal parts in places.

I wish I could have been as happy about my monitor...even though it was top rated. These are quite sweet. I think they could sell a ton of these at $50...the current price is a bit steep. Of course, people have to realize they are an option. Thanks to a reviewer of a monitor I was informed.

Cons: Height adjustment cannot be done on-the fly; requires slipping arm off the post and adjusting height manually with an allen wrench

Other Thoughts: I was amazed at the quality and stability of this arm for the price. Completely satisfied. Will buy another once Newegg relaxes the pricing again.

Using a Dell 2007FP IPS with the desk clamp

Pros: Got this and wireless keyboard/mouse set to reduce desk clutter and it works great for that. Thick and heavy made and supports my new 24" monitor with ease. With it mounted in back center of desk i can swing monitor to either side of desk. Clamps or can bolt through small hole in desk. Tools included.

Cons: up/down adjustment requires allen wrench so not something you can do on the fly between users

Other Thoughts: My kitchen desk is built in against the wall so i drilled a small fat-pencil sized hole and used the included bolt and wing nut option. I didn't tighten any of the allen bolts except the required up/down.

Pros: - Sturdy
- Extremely easy to set up - tools included

Cons: - Tad expensive for what they are - could be cheaper

Excelent quality
works smooth with an 19" lcd. In fact I bet I could put a 22 or even larger on it and not have to worry.

Cons: price but still worth it
doesnt lift but knew that. I wish I could lower it a little bit more but Ive got the monitor about 1" from the top of the desk
picture doesnt show that you need about 4" under desktop but I kinda figured that beforehand
needs better cable management
I really dont like having to use an allen wrench to tighten the arms

Other Thoughts: All the cons I listed are really just picking but this is definitly worth the money. Highly recommend you get it.
When I ordered this I didnt get it when I was suppose to. I contacted customer support and they said they would credit my card a certain amount. They never did.

Pros: It appears to be a high quality product like the other Ergotron product I own. The build materials are similar to the item I currently own - strong.

Cons: Does not lift! To adjust the monitor's vertical positioning, you have to break out the hex wrench.

Other Thoughts: This looks very similar to the model that used to provide lift from Ergotron, but it no longer does. You'll have to go with the LX model to get the lift (slightly more expensive) or the Neoflex model (much less expensive - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16850000336).

I still own an older product, which I remember being called the LX and had the arms which looked very similar to this model. However, it had lift.

Pros: Good price, scalable, easy to install, and very functional. My 30" monitor exceeds the size/weight limits and it still works fine.

Cons: Silver (black would've been better imo)

Pros: This is the 3M MA200MB (not sure who the original mfg is), for a better price. In fact, you can get too of these and save about 20% off of the 3M MA220MB, a dual arm version.

I've had this item for over 2 years. It's very well made, carries 18 lbs of monitor with such ease that you can reposition it on the fly with very light pressure, yet it remains stable and doesn't slip or droop. This is after 2 years mind you.

It's also great at keeping the monitor on the same plane as you move it up and down, back and forth.

Cons: The text of the installation instructions, while earnest, was not as clear as looking at a picture of the thing.

Until you hang a monitor off of it, it wants to stand, um, erect. Don't let that throw you off.

The shapes are odd and not intuitive until you see ti assembled. You need a small hex driver to tighten the set ring, it comes with one, don't lose it.

Other Thoughts: I suppose that if one were to jerk it around a lot, it would loosen up over time.
