Having the laptop screen elevated keeps me from hunching over to type on my laptop, when it's flat on my desk. Combine this is a USB or bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and you'll be amazed at how it helps you keep a straight posture. It also increases air flow around your laptop, which is great if you have a Macbook Pro, and doing lots of graphics and video editing which heat up the system a lot. The swivel feature is great too if you spend time showing people your screen; I do everyday, since I design graphics. Cons: A bit pricey for what it is. Other alternatives are a stack of books, but that looks really cheap in an office setting. A great alternative too are DJ laptop stands, which are half the price, but not adjustable, and cannot be rotated. There's also DIY project, which are made from cardboard. Other Thoughts: If you're 5"6" or taller, you're probably hunching over at your desk when working on your laptop. Get this stand, and it'll save your back, neck, and posture.
