5 out of 5 eggsSolid Design

Pros: Bought this to get the monitors off the desk for better ergonomics and also for a upcoming setup of a sit/stand desk. Very simple to put together. Looks very well designed and strong. Suggestion to future buyers are to make sure to attach the monitors on the upper arm portion prior to install. The other positive is the packaging is very nice. All nuts, bolts, etc held in individual sections versus what I've typically found in most parts (1 generic bag). This tells me the company is really concerned with their customer's experience with the product. Overall - very pleased.

Cons: I did find the instructions could be a little better, but overall not too difficult to figure out.

Other Thoughts: Very fast service again from New Egg.

5 out of 5 eggsthis product is so great

Pros: I am a disorganized mess. My desk is a 6 by 3 foot plywood & 2x4 construction, purpose built to run my dual 24 inch monitors with plenty of depth for keyboard and wacom tablet in front.
With these arms clamped onto the back edge of my desk, I have essentially doubled the amount of general cr4p and clutter which can reside on the surface while mainting all the room I need for drawing. Soooo good.

I got a (stylistically) matching ergotron single arm off a friend as well. Just tossed the laptop attachment from this product onto that arm, now I can bring my rather enormous Dell m6600 mobile workstation into play as well, without having to shovel aside drifts of bills, parking tickets, beer caps, tobacco shreds, toaster strudel crumbs, and dandruff. Ruthless.

Also, when sitting hunched forward 16 hours a day begins to cause a general shutdown of my internal organs, I simply elevate the monitors and aim them at my face while I stand at the desk for a few hours. The entire adjustment takes literally 5 seconds. Awesome.

Cons: pffft. as if.

Other Thoughts: I noticed mouse p00 upon the lovely (if dusty) polished metal of the base clamp a year ago. Attempting to clean it off just now, I realized far too late that where there's p00 there's pee, which, being an acidic substance, seems to have etched filthy stains into the metal.
Certainly not the fault of the product, but of that witless wee beastie.
Being the vengeful sort, I murdered him long ago. Now there remains no one to blame but myself.

5 out of 5 eggssolid and beautiful

Pros: Purchased this stand to support 2x Samsung S23C450. Amazing! More desk space now that I know what to do with. Other reviewer comments about solid construction are true.

I purchased the "over-under" version as compared to the size-by-side version because the over-under can be oriented to be side-by-side or over-under config. I think the difference was $10 or so. No problems hiding the wires under the arms. And the technology of hiding those cables (zip-ties) works just fine.

The overall stand without the monitors is heavy/sturdy. For the clamp, I place a 8" section of a 2x4 board under my IKEA to have more for the clamp to hold onto. Works great.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Works with everything I've thrown at it. I bought 3 of them and have 24-27" LCD's on them.

Cons: The post is not as high as I'd like it to be.

Other Thoughts: I wish I could find a longer post to mount the arms on so I could get a couple screens to stack. I'm not sure if the C-Clamp will support the load with the screen higher up as that'd change the stress but I think it will as it seems like it's pretty burly.

4 out of 5 eggsVery sturdy

Pros: Solid construction.
Configuration is very flexible.
Comes with some nice "accessories" (a laptop mount, etc.)
Can attach to your desk with either a clamp or a bolt going through the desk.

Cons: The post the arms attach to could be longer.

Other Thoughts: Overall I'm pretty pleased with this mount. It's more configurable than anything else I was able to find, and the price is reasonable given how versatile it is.

I do wish that the post the arms attach to was longer though. I have a 21 inch and an 18 inch monitor (with average size bezels) stacked vertically and they barely fit. I'd like to upgrade to dual 24 inch monitors but I doubt I'd be able to stack them vertically given the height of the post.

5 out of 5 eggsBomb proof.

Pros: Heavy duty construction - many degrees of freedom in setting up dual monitors.

Cons: Would like to be able to upgrade to 3 or 4 monitors but limits of physics apply.

Other Thoughts: Love this product.

You should buy it now.

5 out of 5 eggsLaptop tray?

Pros: Adjustable resistance, which is important particularly to me since I use this with a Cintiq drawing display tablet. I have these mounted to an adjustable drafting table, so I move these around very often (several times throughout the day).

Solid construction. They're holding up great. I have no concerns about losing my equipment. I am MORE concerned that my desk will fall apart than that these mounting arms will.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I did not realize this came with a laptop tray, and I had purchased one separately. (whoops!)
