SIIG's Monitor Desk Mount - 13" to 27" is a single-monitor desk mount designed to accommodate flat-panel monitors from 13" to 27" with weights up to 22 lbs (10 kgs). First, let me preface this review by saying that I knew going into this purchase that there would be NO EASY height adjustment once I got my PB278Q hooked up. Also, I wasn't sure about the swivel on the y axis, but figured that I normally never change that swivel direction unless I'm having trouble with the height of my monitor. Going in you SHOULD KNOW that you will not have easy height or y axis adjustment once you install your monitor on this mount. Now to address the reviewer before me, your monitor WILL FALL down unless you have the grip strength of an average adult male. If you are a woman, you may have the problem the first reviewer stated. It does take some pretty serious elbow grease to ensure that your monitor stays in the position you need it to. I was previously using a desk attachment from IKEA that was perfect for a monitor stand, but I felt that the supports holding the wood up were very weak. The supports for this thing are MASSIVE and it feels like the thing is literally attached to my desk. That being said, this monitor is really an awesome solution if you want to free up some room on your desk for activities, and hit the gym every once in a while :) Cons: None other than the things that it doesn't do, which I knew going in. While there is a allen screw, it is already tightened as far as it will tighten right out of the box, so the monitor just faces downward under it's own weight. I have a 24" LCD flat panel display. Other Thoughts: Total garbage! It doesn't even deserve 1 star, but you can't submit a comment without rating it, and they don't have negative stars!
