5 out of 5 eggsGreat recliner side monitor arm

Pros: Because of back and leg issues, sitting at a desk is very uncomfortable. Bolted to the side table, I can relax and body and work! It is extremely heavy duty. I bought my wife one also. I guess we are a computer family. The arm is sufficiently long enough to have the monitor pretty well positioned in front of me. Very comfortable.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome - Perfect

Pros: What I missed when ordering was that this can clamp to the back of the desk OR through a grommet hole, OR through a drilled hole.
Holds and disciplines a 27" HD monitor very well.
Super sturdy construction. Welding is good.
Good sized adjusting wrench.
I can move my monitor around easily,
*I can easily rotate my monitor from landscape to portrait.
Came with extra caps in case you loose one

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I will recommend this to everyone.
I will buy this again for single monitor, heck I might just buy two of these for dual monitors they have such good mounting options.

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Solid, sturdy, lots of movement options

Cons: Joint covers are a bit flaky

Other Thoughts: I have a 27 inch Acer that I rotate, move up and down, and generally man handle constantly and this stand has been holding great for over a year now. Never has any issues with anything.

One other reviewer noted that the mount slowly works its way down the pole that is responsible for this things height adjustment. I too have noticed this, but it's only when I'm constantly moving it. It does not slip downwards on it's own. It's incredibly simple to scoot back up too, it's really not a big deal.

1 out of 5 eggsBroke within 10 minutes

Pros: Did not have a chance to find any pros

Cons: Mounted my 22" AOC monitor and attempted to tighten the mount to the base only to hear a loud pop before the monitor could even support its own weight. Come to find out the pop was the mounting bracket snapping in half.

Says it will support up to a 27" monitor I would not recommend it for anything larger then 18" myself if that

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Solid Desk Mount

Pros: Solid construction. Fairly easy to set up. Saves a lot of desk space!

Cons: The upper clamp on this model is a bit tricky to work with. The monitor arm in this one is not compatible with the quad monitor mount by siig. It would be great to have a standard or somewhere to purchase additional parts / build your one type deal. (I wanted 3 monitors arranged 1 portrait | 2 landscape.)

Other Thoughts: I am mounting a 23 inch monitor portrait view. I have the arm at the tip top of the post and there is about five inches of clearance underneath the monitor (perfect for my set up).

I do have it set exactly where I want it and it hasn't moved at all (I don't rotate it ever).

I also purchased a quad monitor mount before this one from [a different store] and was hoping to find an additional single arm to add to that post, but had no luck finding that so I purchased this additional single mount which is working great for my set up. I have three 23 inch widescreen monitors. Two landscape stacked on top of each other and one portrait centered next to the two. This single monitor mount is holding the portrait monitor in place.

Also a note on the quad monitor mount by SIIG: the install kit was missing a few screws and bolts. I had enough to get it set up and start using it and they sent an additional install kit with all the pieces for no extra charge. Thanks SIIG!

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Solid Construction. Good desk clamp, can be turned around and bolted to side of desk, etc., if there is insufficent ledge to grasp.

Cons: Upper clamp cannot be completely tightened down on post (by design). It is intended to be able to rotate, but this merely allows it to slowly work its way down the post until stopped by the cable guide (pinching your cables in the process). If you leave the cables out of the guide, then you're ok, but you're still unable to specifically set the height to a different position without rigging up some other type of clamp underneath the arm.
