5 out of 5 eggsPair of 21 inch monitors

Pros: I have a pair of 21 inch HP monitors. They're not light in any means. The mounting screws to the back of my monitors seems iffy, but it does hold.

Wiring management clips on the bars come off really easily and will come off with any kind of stressing on the wires. It's not a huge deal since I used velcro strips to tidy up my cables

Cons: None, other than the cable management clips. It's a non-issue for most people I imagine.

1 out of 5 eggsBarely holds a 27" monitor, destroying my desk

Pros: Ummm...

Cons: I bought this stand 3 months ago and am very disappointed in it. The hinge holding my 27" monitor, tightened all the way will barely hold the monitor in place. Any wiggling with the monitor and the hinge lets go altogether and I have to find the Allen wrench.
I noticed today after 3 months of use that it's slowly bending my hardwood desk surface that it's attached to. I'm going to have to find some way to reinforce it.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Super SOLID construction.

Cable clips are very helpful.

Arms have a lot of articulation* (see below)

Cons: My desk is made of high density particle board, and I was worried that the mount's base didn't have enough surface area to support the weight of two monitors plus the mount its self. Turns out it was fine.

The height adjustments are made by moving the whole two arm assembly up and down along the central post (while the monitors can tilt, there's no joint for arm height). With two monitors mounted, it's a significant amount of weight to lift, and is compounded by the awkward angle you have to lift it from.

Some of the hinges needed tweaking with the included hex wrench .

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Mount

Pros: Heavy duty mount. The metal isn't cheap and it's actually kind of heavy to pick up. It holds my two 22" monitors easily. It acts like nothing is there. if you don't want to directly screw it into the desk you can use a side clip that tightens the base to the back edge/lip of your desk. Setup didn't take long at all. The wire clips make cable management pretty nice too. All around a good mount. I had a few spare parts too. Good to have a few extra clips and things incase some get lost.

Cons: None other than the box was pretty heavy.

Other Thoughts: If you attach the monitors before you slide it onto the base you might have a tough time tightening the bolt and holding them to at a desired height. You might need two people.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid mount

Pros: Solid build quality
Cable holders
Go wide range of motion
Multiple mounting brackets for various desk types

Cons: Perhaps could have used slightly longer arms

Other Thoughts: I bought 2 and ended up using 2 different mounting systems to mount to different desk types. Was impressed by the flexibility of the desk mounts.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter then people think...

Pros: Install was easy enough just a few screws and its all together. People seems to be complaining about it not holding there 27" but it holds mine fine, you just need a lite one I guess. The other monitor is a 24" which it holds fine also, I have tried vertical for both and it works great. It is very sturdy, and feels solidly in place.

Cons: only con I see is the cable management, it just seems like they could have done better.

Other Thoughts: Installing alone is hard, might need some help to make it easier, also don;t forget to tighten the joints after everything is installed.

5 out of 5 eggsNo cons here.

Pros: This is really heavy duty. The mounts DO swivel to accommodate portrait and landscape. I have 2 older LCD monitors (Samsung 245BW and heavy) and this holds them just fine.

Cons: None whatsoever.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: it was a good price, it supports my monitors. easy to adjust.

Cons: none so far.

3 out of 5 eggsDisappointing, nut no good alternatives

Pros: Not super happy with this mount. material is good, feels solid and strong. Easy construction, large range of compatibility It's excellent price saved it from being two eggs. Usually after researching I can find some low-priced items that are still a good value, and worth more, but I got burned this time.

Cons: Let's go from minor to major. 1) "innovative" cable management system is just some plastic clips- one was broken when it got here, but they give extras. 2) the unit is supposed to pivot on the mounting bar, but the only way to keep the arms from collapsing down is to screw it soooo tight that it cannot actually pivot at all. 3) A mount that holds any monitor between 13 and 27 inches is way too large of a range, for several reasons. I have 2 22'' monitors mounted and there is a huge gap between them. The only way to get them next to each other is to pull them way out, about 8 inches from the base, out over my work area- this is because the arms have to be so big to support the large format screens. Basically, I have a ton of extra product that i will never need, and it prevents me from having a clean look to my desk. 3) there is literally no possible way this can actually support 27'' monitors because my 22" LG is too heavy not to droop and angle forward. more in other thoughts

Other Thoughts: Basically, I can get this mount to do what I want, but it's pretty clear that the design could be much improved without giving up any of these features. I would really STRONGLY recommend against buying this mount if you have larger than 22" monitors- I really, objectively, don't see a way that it could support the weight if bigger ones if it can't handle one of mine. Also, there is just so much bulk and metal that I have a hard time recommending it for sizes under 20" because it just looks clunky. and it case you missed it earlier, the cable management is a joke. Nevertheless, if you are on a budget, $58 is hard to beat, and if your sizes are right, it will probably work for you
