Pros: [+1] Solid construction: from the base (pole) to the arm, this thing is made up of sturdy components. Even the plastic pieces are tough--even though they're not particularly flexible, they're not brittle, either. I would say that, overall, the arm puts up with tinkering pretty decently (see "Other thoughts").

[+2] Easy assembly: as you can tell from the photo, there aren't a whole lot of parts, but I found the instructions helpful enough. Atdec also has an installation video on their website to show each step.

[+3] Cable management does a good job, once properly configured.

[+4] The total assembly holds my monitors very steady (they weigh about 13 lbs. each).

[+5] The cap on top of the pole has a slot for storage of the Allen Key, so that it's always handy when adjustments are needed.

Cons: [-1] Bolts in the pre-assembled arm have the tendency of being over-tightened:
[-1a] On the first one of these that I set-up, I was attempting to loosen the bolt toward the end of the arm that controls horizontal angle adjustments, but it would not budge. After strong-arming the Allen Key a bit, I got it to start rotating. However, it wasn't the bolt that was rotating, but the cap nut--the cap nut (into which the bolt is fastened) had stripped out its molded plastic seat, so it was doing all the rotating. Because the cap nut is recessed into the surface, there's not really any pretty way to get that bolt out.
[-1b] On the second VF-AT that I set-up, the bolt that connects the VESA bracket to the arm was over-tightened. Unlike the bolts that control horizontal/vertical angle (which are hex-key bolts with deep hex slots), this bolt has a shallow-slotted Phillips head. Despite it being made of a reasonably hard alloy, I stripped it out before too long. Since I wasn't planning on using that bracket, I ended up destroying the plastic parts of the bracket so that I could then grab the bolt with some Vise Grips (which did the trick) and loosen it up. However, as I said before, the plastic is pretty sturdy(!), so that session of butchery was neither fun nor short.

[-2] There isn't a whole lot of grip on the "Handgrip" :
[-2a] The "Handgrip" (the mechanism that secures the arm to the pole for height adjustment) is mostly made of brushed aluminum. It has three rubber rings around it to add grip, but these rubber rings are relatively slick, so they don't provide much friction.
[-2b] However, you don't have to tighten the Handgrip a whole lot to secure the arm at a given height, so it's less of a problem than it might seem.

[-3] The cable management brackets/covers (that clip onto the underside of the arm) are sometimes difficult to secure. You have to finagle them a bit until you find the sweet-spot where they click in.

[-4] Vertical angle/tilt adjustment is tricky to get *just* right, especially if your preferred viewing angle is with the monitor tilted downward.

[-5] The pole cap often comes out when removing the Allen Key from its slot.

Other Thoughts: [1] I got a couple of these to mount two Dell/Alienware AW2210s (21.5"). After setting up one of them with the VESA bracket, it occurred to me that I could probably attach the Dell quick-release bracket to the arm. Much to my delight, it wasn't difficult to do--all I needed was a 1.5" fender washer and a M6x16mm bolt (the M6x18mm bolt that holds on the VESA bracket is a smidge too long to tighten the dell bracket properly). I ended up doing the same with the other monitor (which is where [-2b] came in), and it looks pretty slick. It was pretty easy to attach the Dell brackets, and it's nice to be able to take the monitors off the arms with the push of a button. One downside to this is that I can't switch from Landscape to Portrait easily, but that was an acceptable sacrifice for me.

[2] You have to allow a sizable amount of cable slack for the cable management system to work properly. Unless both your video and power cables are connecting to outlets on the desk level, you'll probably want both to be around 10' long if you want to tuck them away neatly.

[3] Be careful with the pole base--the edges at the top/bottom can be sharp. Luckily, they include a plastic cap and a plastic seat for the pole, so those sharp edges aren't exposed when assembled.

[4] The recesses in the metal on the underside of the arms are not polished (looked pretty tarnished coming out of the box). But, given that those recesses are behind the monitor after installation (not to mention that they're underneath the cable covers), it's not a big deal.

[5] Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the VF-AT; my only egg deduction is for the over-tightened bolts in the pre-assembled arm. Functionally speaking, the VF-AT is everything it's advertised to be.

Pros: Everything you need comes in the box...even different length monitor mounting screw sets. Designed to mount multiple ways including clamp mount for edge of workspace mounting. Instructions were easy enough to follow, and the assembly/set-up took only a few minutes. Having an assistant to hold the monitor while mounting it to the arm would be helpful. No problems getting it to align with another monitor i already had on my desktop.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I wanted to set up a 3-monitor gaming system, but the triple-monitor mounts are quite expensive. My work desk allows room only for a free-standing center monitor and a free-standing monitor to its right. The left edge of my work space is only 20" from the center of my center 24" monitor. Using the edge-mount feature of this mount allowed me to mount an additional 24" monitor to the left edge of my work space and align it with my free-standing center monitor. Perfect set-up for a $190 savings over the cost of a free-standing, triple-monitor mount.
