Pros: Solid mount. I have no concern about the stability of our projector. Not too difficult to put together. Although there are a lot of parts that come with it. As it tries to include all the different screws you might need.

Cons: Little misleading on the height adjustment. The minimum is about 16" as reported. But that's with just the one arm. If you want and longer than that, you have to add the extension which then makes the minimum about 26" with additional extension to about 36". But nothing in between 16" and 26". As it was, I needed about 20".

So, as it was, I hacked off about 3" from each of the arms so I could get the minimum with the extension. This got me around 21" which was close enough to what I wanted. I don't have a problem with hacking up new equipment. In fact, I do it all the time. But just thought I would throw the warning out there that there is a limit out of the box.

Other Thoughts: Using this with a Dell 1490X projector.

Pros: Very heavy duty and heavy. Easy installation. Came with a variety of screws to mount your projector. I used it to mount the Optoma HD 20 and it did have the correct mounting screws.

Cons: No way to tighten the tube mounting bracket where it slides through the ceiling mounting plate. So, it wobbles slightly and makes some of the projector adjustments more difficult. However, once you don't have to touch your projector anymore, everything is fine.

Pros: very solid, good set up

Cons: none significant

Pros: Inexpensive, easy to work with, came with all hardware

Cons: It is designed to have cables run down the tube but I had two problems:

1. The VGA cable I used did not fit down the tube.

2. Because of the narrowness of the pole and the bolts going through the pole, I had a hard time getting any other cables down and ended up running all the cables on the outside.



Also,the poles are too long for most applications. The shortest capability is using one 1' pole and then the next usable length is around 18".

Pros: Very flexible and adjustable. Internal wireway (I didn't use). Lots of hardware included. Heavy gauge steel. Included allen wrenches.

Cons: None

Pros: good mount. its long enough i had to drop 30" from the ceiling and it worked for me.

Cons: Didnt have spacers that worked with my InFocus IN26+ i had to take it to the grinder and grind one down to make it work. A little wobbly when mounted.

Other Thoughts: If i tighten the bolts enough to crush the tube it probably would be rigid enough

Pros: Easy to mount to ceiling beam if you use 2 U bolts

Cons: lock near base does move a bit. Just have to finely adjust with hands to get best position and hope no one moves it.

Other Thoughts: Nice price and easy to assemble and mount. Had to use 2 of the arms to fit our older NEC projector.

Pros: Excellent variety of hardware! I have a big bag of extra screws and shims they send with it! Mount is fairly high quality, and was very easy to install. Lots of adjustments available. Very solid and adjustable in every direction. If you need a short mount, look at their other model - same joints and mounts with smaller reach.

Cons: Had to be a little creative by drilling out two holes to mount our Sharp XR10X projectors, but no trouble.

Other Thoughts: I was a little hesitant to order these since they weren't listed anywhere as working with our new projectors, but I was impressed by the quality and completeness of the package.

Pros: You can use just one pipe or 3, but not 2, so its either pretty short or really long, awesome length for me.

Cons: Did not come with the proper M3 3mm metric screw for my Optoma projector. Took me FOREVER!! 1 find the right screw to mount my projector.
