Cons: Remote is only IR, and the screen came undone from the bottom weight. Apparently they only staple it to a small piece of wood to hold it in place. Easy fix though. Also my only other con is to the difficulty to set the raise and drop levels I have mine mounted on a wall and the place to set the levels is in the back. Other Thoughts: The smell from the new screen material was pretty strong, but nothing major. as another reviewer mentioned the screen goes down and up fairly slow. But not a con just another thought. Cons: Construction quality is questionable. The screen is well built and seems sturdy but mine had a serious flaw. There are screws that set the up and down stop positions and the label on my screen was put on upside down so I spent hours turning the wrong screw untill I almost burned the motor out trying to reel the screen too tight. Also no remore in my package. It seems to be missing Other Thoughts: I will call them and see if i can get a remote and some explanation of why the sticker is upside down! Cons: Not very fast, but this is minor to us. Not a problem with the screen itself, but our did not include the level or remote in the package. There was a small tear in the cardboard of the box, but not enough to cause any damage. Other Thoughts: I called Elite Screens after visiting their website. They were happy to help me out after verifying my serial number, and sent out a replacement remote at no charge. My only wish now that I've used this screen a while with my DIY projector is that I had bought a larger version. This product gets a full thumbs up from me, and my family couldn't be happier with it.
