3 out of 5 eggsEverything doesn't always work right away

Pros: nice screen, small profile, looks great!

Cons: Noise, came with defective wall mount switch,

Other Thoughts: need to replace the wall mount switch, screen motor randomly pulls the screen up and sometimes wont even send the screen down!

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Motorized

Cons: Unit came DOA, I needed the unit for a specific deadline and manufacturer would not off any help of advanced shipping options. The only answer I could get was to go to their website.

4 out of 5 eggsNeat screen

Pros: Well made, no frame bend, dinks, kinks, etc. due to shipping. Easy to mount. Remote came with batteries. The motor is quite and smooth. Even comes with a neat little bubble leveler.

Cons: Small quality difference versus my wall with white flat paint.

Other Thoughts: Free shipping for free limited projector mount offer.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Screen for the Price

Pros: This is a great screen for the money. I was able to get it mounted on the wall quickly and up and running in no time. I'm using this with an Optoma HD20 projector in my new basement theater room and it looks amazing. Projector trigger control is nice too since I like leaving the screen tucked away for aesthetics and to keep my son from deeming it an OK place to draw on. Very happy with my purchase.

Cons: The only slight knock on this was adjusting the screen stop for the down position. I used the instructions from the Elite website, which said how to adjust, but no matter how much I adjusted the stop, nothing changed. It wasn't until my wife suggested on a whim that I completely retract the screen, and then lower again that I was able to get it adjusted. The instructions do not mention this, so it was a source of frustration until I figured it out.

4 out of 5 eggsOther note

Pros: Forgot to mention another thing. You don't need professional mounting gear to hang this thing on ceiling not wall. Just buy some steel drawer handle that require 4 screw/handle (prefer 1"1/2+ spiral nail) and a good small chain to hook it to the 2 ends of the screen. To permanently mount the handle simply just add a filler at the end of the screw to tighten thing up and it will not budge one bit. With chain hooking to the screen you can remove the screen anytime you want. make sure to measure and mark the places b4 you mount it or it's do over.

Cons: Newegg picture show the item with a wall mount remote which I did not revived but the IR control is all that I really needed so I won't brag too much about it but still, plz take the picture off if it's not included.

Other Thoughts: My mounting is clean, tight, and very low profile compare to the bulky projector mounting which could cost 3x more. Whatever you do, don't skimp on projector mount itself and it's one of the harder places to mount.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the money

Pros: Bought it for my small bedroom and it fits just right, not too large nor too small. I love this motorized screen. Very quiet when the screen going up and down.

Cons: Mounting it on the ceiling. Mine came bent a good 5degree on the bottom pole where it hold the screen together. Package came in excellent condition but somehow it was bent inside. Didn't wanted to waste more money to ship it back so might as well keep it.

Other Thoughts: If it weren't bent then I'll gave this a 5 but mine didn't came in perfect condition and it take too much time to return it. I like the quality of the screen (not packaging) and everything feel solid and well made.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Easy to mount, easy to use.

Cons: Mine came with dead AAA batteries. Luckily I had a few spares. The directions for use are not very well written but it is pretty easy to figure out.

Other Thoughts: It works with my Harmony remote. However, the Harmony database does not contain the actual commands, you have to teach them to the remote. One really cool feature that this unit has that is not very well documented is the trigger port. This allows you to syncronize the power cycle of your projector with the screen via built in RJ-45 port.

5 out of 5 eggsProjector Screen

Pros: Easy to Install, looks great!

Cons: Not packed for shipping well. There was a slight dent in the top of the unit, not enough to cause any problems with use of the screen though.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Screen

Pros: Very quiet and very well built.

Cons: Moves a little slower than I expected but that will pretty much coincide with the wait time for the projector to power up.

Does NOT come with a wall switch, only the IR remote, so it would be a boring media room if you ran out of batteries.

Other Thoughts: Haven't mounted it yet because I'm waiting for my lease to run up and I move in to my new place. I did open it up and test it and it looks fine. I don't know how much of a difference it will make though.

5 out of 5 eggsit makes all the differance

Pros: very easy to install, very quick to install, lightweight, very professional looking, makes the picture look better then before, quiet oporation

Cons: not so heavy, as it is bulky.
might be a bit expensive to ship east coast...the remote has to be aimed at the top of the screen for it to really work, but no big deal.

Other Thoughts: makes my picture look WAY better then before. has a nice contrast and reflective quality.. the inage looks soo much better on this screen then on a wall or, i was using a white bed sheet... very nice. inexpensive, and the electric motor is VERY NICE!!
