5 out of 5 eggsRcv'd in Perfect Condition

Pros: Shipping was Great, NEWEGG your the BEST!! Box was a little tattered, but the screen was rcv'd without any damage. I will try this out tomorrow to see the quality when I recieve my projector. But from what I have read the quality will be great for the price. Maybe in the future there will be an upgrade as this is the 1st for me.

Cons: So far None - Overnight Shipping was a little expensive, but the item is very large and slightly heavy.

Other Thoughts: NEWEGG you are still the BEST !!!

Pros: Generously large area. Nice Screen

Cons: Was broken(screen would not retract) upon arrival, but a phillips screwdriver and an extra set of hads remedied that. Legs are flimsy and seem unsteady.

Other Thoughts: Manufacturing needs attention to detail

2 out of 5 eggsOk screen, but some glaring flaws.

Pros: The best thing about this screen is the pricepoint, being more than competitive with other brands. The image quality is also good showing a definite increase in quality from a wall or a sheet.

Cons: Unfortunately the screen has some drawbacks. For the low price I assumed that the manufacturer would cut corners and I was correct. The metal connecting the screen itself to the adjustable post appears quite weak and I question if the product would withstand medium to heavy use. Additionally, the metal rod used to hold the screen open is flimsy as well causing some bend; meaning there are some slight wrinkles visible on the screen when the picture is either all black or white. I have also noticed a small black mark on the screen itself that I could not clean, but it is not overly noticeable.
Beyond those considerations my screen was delivered somewhat damaged showing scuffing on the case, a somewhat bent latch and footprints on the box itself. (possibly not a newegg issue)

Other Thoughts: Overall the screen is what I would expect at the pricepoint. My advice would be to purchase a somewhat better built screen for a little bit more money. Shipping; however, is expensive and did not meet my expectations since I recieved a damaged product.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: I have had this screen for several months now. Before I got it I was worried about quality, but it turned out to be great(there were no reviews on any projector screen here at the time).

Due to some unfortunate positioning problems, it has been sitting, since the beginning of summer, at the bottom of a set of stairs. (naturally the surface does not face the stairs, it faces out into the room) What this means is when someone throws something into the room, there is a chance that it will hit the side of the screen and damage it. It does feel like pretty cheap (yet durable) material, but if something hit it wrong, it could crumple or even tear the edge of the screen.

You can't really tell from the pictures, but the screen is closer to the front of the stand, meaning it sticks farther out into the room (also meaning a smaller picture in some cases). In my case, that meant it was about even with the middle of the stairs, making for a tight squeeze to get by.

Luckily, the screen can be taken off the stand and simply put on backwards, which lets you put it about a foot closer to the wall :) Problem solved. This does, however, mean you can't adjust the height like normal, because the holes in the bar will be on the wrong side. Some duck-tape would fix that if necessary, and being behind the screen, it shouldn't be visible. You could also create a home-made mount and ditch the tripod entirely, but then you are better off getting a "manual" screen.

Finally, just a warning for people on a tight budget. Contrary to what I have read in many places, the projector screen really does not increase image quality much. (in fact, my not-so-clean, textured wall might even produce brighter colors). I only recommend a screen if you have no clean, smooth white walls in a good position.

I have also tried several white sheets with a weighted rod on the bottom, but they are hard to make perfectly smooth/flat, especially with air currents moving it around. They also let some of the light through, resulting in a slightly lower quality picture. The cool thing about sheets is they are absolutely the cheapest "rear" projection screen you will find. Yes, you can see the inverted image on the other side just as well as on the front. If your projector supports inverting the picture and you have enough room, you can make a cheap rear-projection screen. Keep in mind though, you can also see the bright spot from the projector lens, making positioning for a rear-screen a real trick.

Comments: This is a GREAT screen for the price, and it is BIG. Nearly 8 foot long, it can be pulled out like in the picture to 16x9 (without the lower black border), or to the full 4x3 size (where the black border shows on all sides). Again, be warned, this thing is HUGE. I doubt if I will ever unroll it to its full heigh, and it makes a nice 16x9 screen.

3 out of 5 eggsAverage

Comments: Screen came pre-scuffed and almost seems like it has been used before (and someone tried to clean it.) The screen is quite large and well built. But I'm stuck with a less than perfect screen since return shipping on this thing would be insane.

Comments: I love this screen! The tripod saved me the trouble of mounting it on my ceiling. Very easy setup too. I was watching TV on it in less than five minutes after I took it out of the box, and I didn't even touch the manual! Just make sure that you have a large room to put it in, because this thing is WAY larger than it looks in the picture. You also need some considerable space between it and your projector.

Comments: Ordered saturday, shipped monday with fedex saver shipping, arrived wednesday.(1 day early). On the same day, I ordered a projector from Dell (only place it is sold) using UPS's cheapest shipping. It "shipped" monday, but when I got the tracking number wednesday, UPS claimed it had actually departed wednesday morning. Newegg, as usual, has done a superior job. They even had the best prices on the most affordable projector screens I could find.
