When mounted to a desk it can support at least 20 lbs! I have a 24 inch ASUS monitor mounted on it and works great. It is a lot more heavy duty than the pictures show. That's a good thing. I was worried how much weight it could handle. I could easily hang a 27 inch monitor on this if I wanted. Cons: Nothing really. Other Thoughts: I use this for a dual monitor setup.
