Pros: -fast
-inexpensive
-compact
-comes with ethernet cable

Cons: -doesnt come with a coaxial cable

Other Thoughts: i bought this cable modem so i would not have to pay a monthly modem rental fee to my internet provider.

this modem has a system to automatically update the firmwire. for whatever reason, the process took nearly an hour for me. I was convinced it was broken. Beware that the first-time-use may take a long long long time to get started, but it's perfect after that.
