Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Great buy for the money... when they sold them. :( No new model available.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Modem - No Rent

Pros: Fantastic modem. Paying for 12 Mbps, getting 21 Mbps. Very noticeable difference.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Just had this ready when the Comcast guy came to set everything up, went smoothly and I'm saving each month I don't have to "rent" a modem.

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't work!

Pros: When it was first connected, I instantly noticed better throughput speeds than my old cable modem provided.

Cons: It loses the cable link about every hour. It has to be unplugged/reset every time. Plugged back in my old 6 year old RCA cable modem and contacted the cable company to remove the Cisco and re-enable the RCA. Cable company said they did not see any problems on their end. The old RCA never loses connection. Just wanted an updated modem and obviously there is something wrong with this one.

Other Thoughts: Newegg is awesome. Shipping is super. First bad product I ever got from the company. Prob just bad cable modem. No big deal, but really wanted this to work. Looks good.

5 out of 5 eggssolid performer

Pros: Slim design. It actually works.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: The TWC allocated RCA modem had been on its last legs the last couple of months, kept losing signal, the d/l and u/l speeds had dropped, so I decided to buy a new one. Having read NewEgg reviews, decided to go with this one. It has met the expectations, works without a hitch and I've reclaimed the bandwidth I used to have. It did require to register its MAC address with TWC and it took a day to get done, but its TWC's quirk, not Linksys'.

Kudos to Linksys and NewEgg.

3 out of 5 eggsWorked pretty reliably for about 7 months.

Pros: Had a constant and speedy connection for about 7 months.

Small.

Pleasing colors.

Cons: After about 7 months of use the modem requires an unplug then back in about every 1-3 days.

Other Thoughts: I bought this modem because of the high reviews thinking that it wouldn't have any issues. Just be warned that not all of these modems are so solid.

5 out of 5 eggsReliable DOCSIS 2.0 Modem

Pros: Will change frequencies as needed. Nice interface to view logs and stats.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: No problems however I would have liked to have seen a little more clearance at the base for ventilation. The black looks good with my Netgear wireless N gaming router.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: It works with no problem.
Easy to connect

Cons: Nothing so far

Other Thoughts: I mean it is just a cable modem, there aren't lots of difference between modem (for home user)... (just buy a brand that you like)
Just remember to check and buy the correct DOCSIS number and you are good to go.
It would be nice if Comcast offer a free modem... I not going to pay $7 per month for rent!
