4 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: So far no issues what so ever. Been running this product for almost two years nonstop 24/7 365 with at least five ports used at all times.

Cons: no cons as of yet

Other Thoughts: Definitely worth every penny.

4 out of 5 eggsOnly issues appear ISP related

Pros: Seems fairly stable. Any issues I've had have been ISP related.

Saves me a rental fee!

Cons: Only DOCSIS 2.

5 out of 5 eggsIt works.

Pros: It runs nice and cool, and should last you a very long time. You don't have to pay Time Warner/Comcast those annoying cable rental fees anymore. This is one of the lower cost cable modems available.

Cons: Supposedly not fast enough to handle the highest cable internet tiers out there.

Other Thoughts: Just plug it in, connect the cable line and the ethernet cable. Then call your internet provider and read them the number on the bottom of the modem.

This modem is good enough for 99% of cable internet customers out there.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: No problems in over a year of ownership, offers speeds that meet gaming/streaming demands without any problems. Great Price.

Cons: Faster modems existing depending on your needs

Other Thoughts: Got this modem rather then paying my provider (TW) a monthly fee for one. It took over any hour on the phone with them to set up (there fault, not the modems), but once set up this device has been worry free and reliable.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: This inexpensive modem does the job. It is not necessary to spend more money to obtain reliable and fast internet.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: To get this working, I plugged it in, called my cable provider, gave them the MAC address and let them manage it. In less than an hour, I was switched over. It is possible to log into the modem too but I usually don't bother - just let the cable provider handle that side.

5 out of 5 eggsCable Modem

Pros: $40 to make the cable company stop charging $6 a month... will pay for itself in 8 months.

Supports Docsis 2 up to 30mbps. I only pay for 18mbps so no bottleneck for now.

Cons: Doesn't support Docsis 3 and up.

5 out of 5 eggs5+ years and still chuggin

Pros: Does what it says, and runs like a champ. Mine's been going strong since December 2008. Buy it so you can save the Comcast extortion fees. Pays for itself in 3 - 6 months, depending on your terms.

Cons: Comcast

5 out of 5 eggsworks well with TWC

Pros: This modem works well and helps to reduce the fees charged for leased equipment. Compatible, and you get the speeds you pay for. What else is a modem supposed to do?

Cons: Although set-up is fairly easy, most of Time Warner's customer service personnel are not proficient in setting up customer furnished equipment. Spent over 1 hour on phone with CS, and finally got a top tier technician and she had me up and running in a matter of minutes.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Worked well for nearly a year.

Cons: After about 11 months this modem started losing connection, requiring the modem to be reset. Several weeks after it began failing it did not always come back online when reset but would randomly return to service. I became frustrated and had a technician from my ISP come out to diagnose my problem. I am now leasing a modem from the ISP and have trouble free internet access.
