Pros: the speed is faster on surf of the internet

Pros: Wired works well and easy to set up. Wifi has a lot of issues and Netgear support is very poor

Cons: I filed a complaint through BBB. Summary is below:

I purchased a refurbished model which has intermittent wifi issues. The representative gave me instructions on how to change setting on the device to improve these signal drops. I explained that my warranty is only for 3 months, so I would prefer a replacement before warranty expiration, but she said I can call back within a couple of days if the issues persisted. I explained that these are intermittent issues (occurring every few days rather than daily) but she suggested I try these interventions, including changing channels, changing fragmentation length, etc. I even went online to get support via their website and tried additional interventions without success. Finally, I even downloaded a wifi scanner to see the best signal/channel for me. I tried them all without any success. My warranty is now expired and I am unable to get a refund or replacement or any assistance for that matter. I am now requesting a refund or replacement.

Response from Netgear essentially gave me a link to their policy: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/12171/~/is-my-netgear-product-under-warranty. This is not indicated on NewEgg page. They went on to say refunds/returns are done through the reseller (NewEgg in this case).

I am disappointed in the product, but more so in the customer service.
