Pros: Plug and play with my laptop. As advertised. No issues. Meets my needs in this area.

Cons: Desktop required installation of software on CD. It is an older PC with a dying HD so that may explain why the hardware was recognized but not initiated. Software installation interface ugly - not a smooth process.

Other Thoughts: If this is for a laptop you shouldn't have issues with it being plug 'n play. I only wish it was slightly smaller for easier carrying.

Pros: works great with win7 64 bit and all my linux
can send and receive faxes using my magic jack plus
but you do need an analog phone line to us it as a modem to connect to the internet.

Cons: none works great.

Other Thoughts: Installed on Win7 64-bit Pro. Was having intermittent issues with it not working until I installed the driver from the CD. Now it is rock-solid.

Troubleshooting tips:
1) install driver from CD
2) might need to plug into a different USB slot to get Windows to recognize after installing drivers (even after rebooting)

Pros: Windows 7 recognized and installed a fax connection easily, nice design

Cons: after I connected the "fax modem" to the usb port and didn't get any line connection with the phone line connected, I read in fine print that this modem is only compatible with an analog connection. Connecting to a digital line could damage the modem.....REALLY?

Other Thoughts: In this day and age with 95% of the phone systems being digital, why would you have an analog only modem. Not sure what I am going to do now.

Pros: Delivered performance out of the box. Even worked with old d530 when internal modem wouldn't (couldn't) wakeup. Work like a charm.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Would recommend this for computers that come through without a modem.

Pros: Easy to set up. Works with Windows 7. Tech support was easy to call and talked me through many things to try and get it working again.

Cons: Won't work with digital phone lines. Mediacom just upgraded the phone lines to digital in our area. I mentioned this to tech support at TrendNet and she didn't say anything about it. It is on their website however.

Other Thoughts: I gave it 4 eggs because the product is a good one. The description should have stated that it worked with analog phone lines only. I have had it 3 months and now can't use it.

Pros: This just plugged and played with Windows 7. Works great!

Cons: none

Pros: Works and got it for sale at 20 bones

Cons: regular price was 50 bucks

Other Thoughts: sell it for less.
