Don't bother with a Zoom modem. This is worth the money. I use this with an auto-dialer alarm package. The sound/voice is very good. It even has handy indicator lights. Cons: You have to go to the MultiTech website for drivers. I suppose you would have to download drivers even if it did come with a disk to be sure that you have the latest version anyway. Pros: This modem worked perfectly out of the box. Don't bother with a Zoom modem. This is worth the money. I use this with an auto-dialer alarm package. The sound/voice is very good. It even has handy indicator lights.

Cons: You have to go to the MultiTech website for drivers. I suppose you would have to download drivers even if it did come with a disk to be sure that you have the latest version anyway.
