5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works like it's supposed too.

Cons: The lights are very bright so I put a strip of 20% windshield tint down the center and that took care of it and it looks better.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked great for 2 months.

Pros: Easy setup, small.

Cons: Short life span.

2 out of 5 eggsNo compatible with Airport Extreme (A1301)

Pros: Very small

Cons: Does NOT play nice with Airport Extreme (A1301), so if your WIFI router is Airport Extreme (or Time Capsule from what I've read on MAC forums) don't bother even trying with this modem.

Pros: Worked perfectly for over a year so far. No resets needed, no bandwidth slow downs.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: I've only used it to connect to Comcast.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Super easy to install

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Easy to install, took about 30 minutes to finally get a hold of a real person at Cox to give them the MAC address, I guess if you just hit "0' repeatedly you can connect to a live Cox representative...lol

5 out of 5 eggs3 Min and Doen

Pros: Good for 5 to 10 yr.

Cons: NONE.

Other Thoughts: Getting this modem to work correctly with my ISP (Comcast Cable,) was a hassle, all because of they require update modem.
i own the DOCS IS 2.0. IT WORK'S FINE. BUT COMCAST NEED TO UPDATE MODEM DOC-SIS 3.0.
SO, Bought this modem to avoid the monthly fee.
This modem is what you need for any plan that provides >15 Mbps down. As the speed on the network rises, as it inevitably does, this modem positions you to get the full benefit of your broadband cable connection. We use our modem for Internet, phone, and TV, so we make good use of it. It's stable and solid.
it took me only 3 min. and i can surf the web.
yes, this modem is in-cress my PC download and upload speed.
(it's depend on processor.)
This modem is really small and light weight. in night time on front Led light so bright.but good for night bulb?
i made a one phone call to Comcast for serial number and fresh signal.
I highly recommend this device. It simply works and is a much cheaper alternative to paying the monthly rental fee to the cable company
That's it. done.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks with Time Warner Ultimate

Pros: This works great with the Time Warner Ultimate speeds in my area, 50mbps/down and 5/mbps up. I frequently peak well above both of those numbers. Time Warner recently claimed they were no longer supporting this modem. If you are told this, DON'T believe them. Mine still works despite their technician claiming it was no longer supported. They even still give these out to customers.

Cons: No complaints. It works flawlessly.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: Not a terrible ISP modem. Able to go 5-10Mb over ISP limit DL and UL.

Cons: Lights are a bit distracting in the dark/night - too bright.

Other Thoughts: Fabio B. mentioned earlier this month about this not being compatible with the Airport Extreme. I don't really see how it couldn't be and I can attest to having mine setup along with my Airport Extreme immediately after powering up.

5 out of 5 eggsOne of the best modems I've ever owned, twice

Pros: Set it and forget it. Aside from VERY RARELY needing a power cycle (and I have yet to find a piece of networking equipment that doesn't), this has performed flawlessly.

Cons: I don't like how the connection light flashes instead of staying solid. If you use 100MBPS connection it's blue. 10MBPS it's red (which is what I use). A bit disconcerting to have a flashing red light on the modem. Makes me think something is wrong. But at the other location, it flashes blue, which still bothers me, but isn't as bad as red

Other Thoughts: I highly recommend this device. It simply works and is a much cheaper alternative to paying the monthly rental fee to the cable company.
