1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Adjustable DPI is handy, 2 extra thumb buttons. Zero-play room when clicking. (there's no "I thought I clicked" no guesswork, click to click)
I use lower DPI when I'm working with finer detailed jobs in photoshop, switch back to my favorite setting when I'm done.

I've owned this mouse for at least a year now, maybe a couple years, and it's still functioning.

With the high DPI I'm able to accurately scoot my mouse from one end to the other of my screen without lifting the mouse. The laser is active even at almost 1/2" off of the surface of my desk, which is a good thing for me because while I'm palming the mouse I sometimes accidentally lift it up. This might be a con for some people who are in the habit of lifting their mouse.

Cons: The software does not work with 64bit OS, you have to download software made for other OCZ mice, or use 3rd party software such as this; http://www.highrez.co.uk/downloads/XMouseButtonControl.htm

Seriously, no 64bit? 64 bit is more common than 32 bit these days. If you put in a support ticket, rather than directing you to the download page of one of their nearly identical mice, they will tell you they do not support 64 bit with this mouse. Total junk.

The little footpads that make this mouse glide super smoothly are terrible.. When they come off (not if, but when, and it will probably happen within the first day of ownership) you will have to stick them back on with superglue. Rub the sticky stuff off of the underside of the footpads, my jeans worked nicely, the junky adhesive came right off the footpad and wiped off my jeans with no problem. 3/4 of the pads came off of mine after the 2nd time replacing them and I was down to my last set. I super glued 3 of them on after removing the goop. I went to peel the 4th one off and it would not come off, because it was actually one of the ones I superglued. I located the 4th pad that had not been superglued by applying a very light amount of pressure with my fingernail. Seriously if I poked it with the corner of a sheet of paper, the pad would have come off before the paper crinkled. If you're using an older-style fabric-type mousepad the footpads will almost definitely come off the moment they catch on a tiny bit of fuzz or something. I cannot emphasize enough how junky the glue is on the footpads.

Had it not been for superglue, my dog would have enjoyed a new USB chew-toy which I would have incinerated in my furnace as soon as she got bored with it.

The "Triple Threat" button is hardly useful. I can click faster than that manually. If the button was re programmable I could just use the 3rd party software that I was FORCED to download (because again, 64 bit is not supported) to duplicate the same effect. However the "Triple Threat" button is NOT re programmable. That might be a pro for some people because the 3 clicks is created by the hardware and not by software, therefore it would be harder for anti-cheat programs to detect. Personally I would rather have another programmable button or just not have it there at all.

The fact that it's a palm-size mouse means anybody with larger hands might get cramped up after a few hours of use

Other Thoughts: Rather than have pre-applied worthless adhesive strips on the footpads, it should have just come with a small tube of superglue. The superglue can be easily removed if I ever have to replace the footpads again, but I can't since I'm down to my last set, because the other replacements got lost because they fall off so easily. SERIOUSLY you could use jelly on the bottom of these and they would stick better than with the factory stuff. When you do the superglue, get small, solid, flat object and press it against the bottom of the mouse after you set the pads in place, otherwise you'll end up with a wobbly mouse.

This started out as a 3egg review, but as I typed it out I deducted 2 more eggs. This mouse has been very frustrating for me. I thought I was getting a great deal when I picked this up on sale for $10, but after all the trouble, that's about how much it's worth.

Manufacturer Response:

We are sorry to hear about your frustration with the Windows XP driver/software package. The mouse has been EOL/discontinued for quite some time thus the software package is no longer updated. Thank you for your detailed comments.

5 out of 5 eggsOver 4 years now and still working well

Pros: I never wrote a feedback on this mouse, but it deserves one. It's been great throughout the years. Works with Windows 7 (32-bit). I bought this mouse specifically for a desktop computer (and ignored the desktop model), because I like small mice for faster movement.

Cons: I just installed the 64-bit version of Windows 7 and the driver's CD wasn't working. Even the 64 bit version of the program wasn't installing.

I tried the drivers from OCZ's website, which were the same as the drivers from the CD, and still nothing. Perhaps OCZ needs to update their drivers, or make a universal program to detect the mouse and install the correct drivers. (if possible)

Other Thoughts: But the mouse still works fine.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Mouse Ever

Pros: It owns... A bit small for those of you with big hands but if you like small mice, this mouse is awesome. Keep in mind this is a laptop mouse.

Cons: Con is not in this mouses vocabulary.

Other Thoughts: This is my second time purchasing this mouse and I literally can't find a better one. I hate every other mouse I've ever tried. But this one couldn't get any better. I play FPS games all the time and I love it. Runs great both on low and high DPI.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: Nifty center wheel light. Great size (it is small... but that doesn't bother me.). The main thing is the feel and the performance. Both are great.

Wide variety of surfaces this will function perfectly on, a mark of quality optics.

I am very impressed for the money - you'd have to spend quite a bit more for me to find something I am happy with otherwise!

Cons: Doesn't have tilt wheel.

Other Thoughts: I don't use wireless b/c of health concerns about the radio signals over the long term, so I always only look at corded products.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good mouse for gaming. Some say it is a bit small but since my hands are small it had the perfect size for me. Overall, this mouse is quite portable. Good sensitivity while playing on certain FPS games since I was able to adjust the dpi with a click of a button.

Cons: There's none at the moment. The mouse is just too awesome.

Other Thoughts: Just make sure that you hands are clean before using the mouse. It can attract oil from your palms sometimes. I would recommend buying this mouse if you like to do on-the-go gaming on laptops.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Cheap Gaming Mouse

Pros: Price. Adjustable DPI on the fly. Triple Threat Button. Didn't need drivers, worked out of box for 7, Vista, and XP.

Cons: A bit too small, but it is a portable mouse soooooooooo...
Mine came with some cosmetic flaws, the blue plastic part is jagged and has chips sticking out of it. It's in the crack between the blue and the black so I can't get it out.
The feet come off very easily, mine was missing one out of box.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat small mouse

Pros: Very good for gaming. I love using the "Triple Threat Button" on COD4 and 5. I also like the ability to switch the sensitivity without having to go into the software and screw around with it. Nice color changing mouse wheel.

Cons: VERY SMALL!!! When I bought this mouse I knew it was a notebook mouse but i didnt think that it would be so small. When I use it my hand hangs off of the back a little bit.

Other Thoughts: My hands are not that big.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very impressed with shipping, and quality of packaging. As seen in other reviews, the mouse is rather small, but it doesnt bother me at all, because its got some weight to it, that keeps it accurate.

Buttons are very helpful (7 wow!), and I use most of them, for gaming and for web searching. The DPI settings are very well done, and work wonderfully. Ingame, you can switch from massive DPI for run and gun to sniping with low DPI instantly.

The pads are very smooth and quick, and allow for accurate movement. Overall a very well done mouse, and I'm very impressed and glad I made the purchase.

Cons: None really, left mouse button is a little too stiff but thats just a preference for me.

Other Thoughts: Great for laptop use, gaming, and any use really, + awesome price!

2 out of 5 eggsA Mouse with a Mind of It's Own

Pros: Good looks & feel. Just the right amount of buttons.

Cons: This mouse has a mind of it's own. Will erratically scroll on it's own. It was frustrating enough to surf the web having it scroll on it's own. I didn't even attempt using it with a FPS.

Other Thoughts: I saw many other complaints about the strange behavior of this mouse and that should have been enough to steer me away. I don't know how this mouse could even be sold knowing it has issues. Not worth the price of shipping to return it. Even tried the A4Tech drivers... no good.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello, we are sorry that have had difficulties. Please visit the link below and create a support ticket. We can assist with troubleshooting, and an RMA if required.
Thank you
