2 out of 5 eggsNot happy

Pros: It has a good look to it

Cons: Uncomfortable, not a stable platform, just seems slugish.

Other Thoughts: Its a good looking joystick. But unfortunately thats all it has going for it, in my opinion. I've been using the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro for about the last 4-5 years, and when it finally decided to croak - I thought I'd try something new. The Cyborg just lacks the over quality that the Logitech had.

Do yourself a favor and just purchase the Logitech instead.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price paid

Pros: Tons of buttons, very responsive, comfortable, practical, and very well made.

Cons: It does seem to slip a bit - but can be fixed by replacing the hard rubber with soft rubber.

Other Thoughts: It's rugged. I've had mine since Battlefield 2 - so maybe 5 years or so, and have never had any issues. I've finally had to replace it because the stick has gotten a bit loose, and tends to not stick to the deadzone. But 25$ for a little over 5 years use is just awesome - won't buy anything else. Logitech has been selling the same model for ever now, and there is a reason behind that.

2 out of 5 eggsNope.

Pros: Couple parts of the joystick are adjustable (unfortunately nothing is worth adjusting, adjusting anything to any real extent leads you from passably comfortable to just terrible)

Other than that worthless pro, theres not much to give this, anything that isn't an outright con isn't a pro either because it could be done better.

Cons: The base is just terrible, you really have to consciously hold down on the entire joystick just to keep this thing rooted in place, otherwise every time you want to nose down, enjoy not nosing down because the entire base is moving forward while the joystick barely moves.

I don't enjoy the feel of the movement of the joystick at all, it feels far to loose for me, or rather I wish the movement was a little more static, it takes more force moving it from the neutral position to wherever, and then once its out from neutral its very loose.

The grip feels rather uncomfortable for me, just 1 mission with heavy dog-fighting had a couple of my fingers hurting pretty bad

The LED is just ridiculous, it's blinding when looking at the joystick and is just distracting otherwise, and as far as I can tell there's no way to turn it off on the unit or the little control center that comes on the disk

Other Thoughts: Don't get a joystick with the base forming a T, or else the whole thing's going to till every time you nose down.

1 out of 5 eggsPass this one up...

Pros: None - completely defective.

Cons: I am a big Saitek fan so I was very disappointed to receive this joystick DOA. Funny... Newegg doesn't stock it any more.

Other Thoughts: Now I am stuck with a restocking fee to return a piece of garbage. Granted, this is an economy joystick, but seriously... it could at least work poorly.

1 out of 5 eggsNever Again Saitek

Pros: worked beautifully for an hour

Cons: Went to bed, didnt restart computer or anything, and the joystick stop being centered, Tried a Calibration over 11 times, rolled back drivers, Installed drivers from site, Uninstalled and reinstalled, Tried different USB ports Its absolutely unfixable. The flight axis is stuck on the bottom right corner and its just PLAIN OUT RUBBISH.

Im really disappointed and out of 23 bucks.

Other Thoughts: Never again saitek, unless you guys can do something for me. Cause this is infuriating.

1 out of 5 eggsFail Joystick is FAIL

Pros: it worked for 30 minutes beautiful

Cons: Went to bed left computer on, went back to game, and now the calibration is all messed up, ive reinstalled the drivers, rollback the drivers, nothing i do fixes it from being aligned to the outmost right bottom corner. Ive installed software from site too, I dont understand why it did it, was working fine when it was first installed, wake up 6 hours later and its rubbish.
Ive literally tried 5 usb ports to ensure it was nothing to do with my computer or anything. This thing has a terrible shelf life it seems. Like keeping it plugged in for 7 hours or something messed it up.

Other Thoughts: Absolute Rubbish, never will buy from this company again. Is there anything newegg can do for me? If at all possible id like to return it for some cash back.

5 out of 5 eggsquality

Pros: Good build quality, sits firmly. Sensitive controls. Plenty of buttons. Would buy again.

Cons: Auto-centering spring is pretty stiff, if that bothers you. Blue LED is silly.
