2 out of 5 eggsNot quite what I expected

Pros: Very sleek, fit in my small hands perfectly, reasonably priced.

Cons: Problems with the left mouse button.

Other Thoughts: The left mouse button wore out rapidly. I bought the mouse in March; it's now September and I'm shopping for another one. It's my understanding that the mice with the single piece comprising the entire top of the mouse (except for the wheel, of course) are ones that the left mouse button begins to stick badly and wear out. I always have high expectations of Logitech mice, so this was a disappointment.

I'm now in the market for yet another Logitech mouse, only this time I'll make sure that the two buttons are separate from the rest of the top of the mouse.

5 out of 5 eggsEXCELLENT Notebook Mouse

Pros: This is an excellent notebook mouse. It is smaller then a normal desktop mouse since it is made for using with a notebook/laptop. You will want to adjust the speed of the arrow in the mouse driver settings to your liking. Great quality construction -- definitely not cheap feeling. Overall an excellent mouse for notebooks at a great price.

Cons: Actually there are no Cons that I see with this mouse. The mouse usb cord is about 3 feet long, but it is the perfect length for me when using with a notebook (it will be too short if used with a desktop computer though -- in this case you would need a USB extension cord).

Other Thoughts: Newegg is an excellent place to shop. I feel confortable knowing that if something goes wrong with what I buy, Newegg will be there to help out on replacing it.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent, but a few issues

Pros: It doesn't jump around erratically for me, no matter what surface I'm using it on, which is more than I can say about some of the other mice I've had to use. I can slide it around pretty fast without it freaking out, so that's good too.

The cord is quite short (about two feet), but I don't see it as a problem considering it's meant to be used on a laptop, right next to where it plugs in. If anything, it prevents it from being a tangled mess.

Having the tilt functionality can be nice, although I just use uberOptions to bind it to home/end, which is much more useful for me.

Cons: The mouse wheel feels a bit "loose"--it will scroll up or down a line when I just jiggle the wheel a bit, without it actually clicking over to the next notch. This happens most often when I'm trying to press the wheel as a button, and it gets annoying.

Upon installation, the SetPoint software will detect whether you have a trackpad and make the software settings apply only to the mouse, but incidentally it also makes the Windows mouse sensitivity (not the SetPoint one) reset to a default value every time you boot up. I had to manually disable the service from starting up so that I could use my trackpad at the sensitivity I wanted when I don't have the mouse out. (This complaint probably applies to a bunch of Logitech mice that use SetPoint, though)

Other Thoughts: It's an all-around decent mouse, but the wonky mouse wheel lowers my opinion of it a bit. There are drivers for the SetPoint software, but the mouse doesn't come with a CD; you have to go to the Logitech website to download them. I kind of it prefer it that way, just so it's one less software CD I keep buried in the drawer; YMMV.

5 out of 5 eggsSmall mouse...small prce...

Pros: This was a cheap mouse purchase for wife. She was tired of the wireless mouse chunking and the batteries running low. So we replaced it with this one. She loves it and it fits her hand perfectly.

Cons: I ordered (2) hoping that it would accomplish the same goal as above with the battery issue and all. The mouse is a bit small for my hands, but overall, it seems to be an inexpensive fit for the money.

Other Thoughts: If the mfr would widen the mouse just a bit, that would fix "universal" hand-fit problems. Thanks to Newegg for getting this to my wife as soon as you did. Her wireless mouse "fits" were turing into a daily routine!
