5 out of 5 eggsWorth the money

Pros: Good resolution for an average user. The wheel is something that after using i can't imagine life without. I've used this mouse for 16 hours strait and have never had a sore hard or been uncomfortable. It has been a very durable mouse i use it with my laptop and haven't broken one. Battery lasts long enough (about a week) and charges fast.

Cons: It gets dirty and slows the free spin of the wheel down. Doesn't have a middle mouse button, after a while i stopped missing the button though. Could make me breakfast in the morning.

Other Thoughts: Let the battery drain all the way before recharging, as with every battery throwing them in the charger every night is foolish and will ruin the battery. Use your limited charges wisely and drain the battery. If you notice the mouse tracking poorly after you have owned it for a long period use a q-tip to clean the laser opening. I've never installed the software that comes with it so i don't know how good or bad it is, its not incredibly necessary unless u want to install 3rd party software to switch the search button to a middle mouse button.

5 out of 5 eggsSuperior Mouse

Pros: Best mouse i have ever owned. The range on his mouse is unbelievable. I set a laptop clear on 1 side of my apartment to test the range and put the mouse on the other side. probably 50 ft and mouse still moves cursor. Logitech software allows a lot programming and functionality. I have fully charge the battery once and has gone almost 3 weeks without a charge. Logitech has nothing but awesome products.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it

Pros: It is everything I imagined. As a gamer from classics such as diablo II to new games like mass effect it is outstanding. It is extremely smooth and always accurate, was worried it would not be as good as a wired mouse for fps games. The charge lasts me all day long. Whats really cool is you can push down the scroll and it will switch from bumpy to really smooth. It has all the extra buttons a pro gamer would want. Its just an amazing mouse.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I have wanted this mouse since the day it came out and finally gave it a try. I wish I bought it the first time I seen it.

If you are a gamer, I suggest this mouse.

5 out of 5 eggsReally like

Pros: Very nice, solid mouse. Plenty of buttons. The wheel keeps spinning after you release it, slowing down very slowly.

Cons: My girlfriend thinks it's too heavy, but why would you pick it up??

1 out of 5 eggsFailed to Charge, Customer Support Experience - HORRIFIC

Pros: Highly customizable
Excellence responsiveness to tracking
Rechargeable lith-ion battery with charge indicator and docking station

Cons: Awkard design takes some getting used to, and I still prefer a more "egg" shaped mouse.
Device failed to hold a charge after about 2 months of use.
For the first month that I dealt with customer support I was on hold for at least 30 minutes before speaking with a person, sometimes up to an hour. See below...

Other Thoughts: I'd estimate that I used the device 6 to 8 daily. I did not charge it daily or leave it sitting in the cradle, but waited until the indicator fell below 50%. It never took more than a overnight to reach full charge again. One morning I woke up to find the battery indicator was red and the device would no longer charge. Enter the customer "support" drama...

My first incident was reported on 9/24/2009. I was told that Logitech would issue a replacement and would provide a return UPS label at no cost to me. I waited for the label patiently and eventually had to call about it. After calling (#2) I received the label. It had expired, so I had to call back (#3). Took 3 more days to get a label. Called (#4) after 5 business days and asked status of replacement. Called 5, 6, 7 more times. Still awaiting "supervisor" approval. Supervisor was "unavailable".

Avoid Logitech at all costs. Based on this experience I will never buy a product from them again.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse

Pros: Lots of buttons, very adjustable DPI settings
I have had this mouse for a while now and I am just getting around to writing a review. This mouse is very accurate and very sensitive. The great thing about this mouse is its ability to change DPI settings on the fly without having to open a program. This is very helpful in games and other applications.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: This is a must buy, I wish I had another one for my other computer.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Charge dock is great, no more changing batteries! Also, the super fast scroll mode is wonderful to get to the bottom of web pages and documents with the quickness. The second wheel is cool to switch between open windows when I can remember to use it. The logitech setpoint software that came with it is very handy. You can program in a series of keystrokes. When I press the mouse wheel down, its programmed with CTRL+T to open a new tab in firefox.

Cons: If the battery does die, you have to put it in the charger and wait to use it.

Other Thoughts: Great mouse and looks pretty sweet too.

5 out of 5 eggsBest wireless mouse I've ever used

Pros: --Excellent build quality
--Rechargeable batteries and charging cradle work great
--Very quick and responsive for a wireless mouse
--Plenty of buttons to work with
--Main scroll wheel is awesome

Cons: The software for Mac is not as good as for PC. Some features don't work quite right (like application-specific button settings), and scrolling speeds can be inconsistent between applications. This seems to be an issue where the OS settings are at war with the Logitech Control Center settings. I use this mouse on a 2008-model MacBook Pro.

Other Thoughts: Despite the cons listed above, I still highly recommend this mouse. I have used a few different wireless mice in the past, and this is the closest I have come to finding one that performs almost as well as a wired mouse. I would say this mouse would be best used as a general purpose mouse rather than for gaming (because it does have just the slightest perceptible delay when coming back from standby) but for the casual gamer it will probably be just fine. The main scroll wheel is great, with great tactile response and plenty of options. The fast scrolling mode is really something you have to experience yourself!
