Spendy, but worth the price.
- Pros: This mouse fits!!! In addition to being left handed, I have heavy scarring across my right palm, so I've always moused with my left hand. Others have commented that it 'fit their big hand.' Being fermale, my hands are somewhat smallish (size 7 1/2 glove) and it fits. the curves are in all the right places, the (fully programmable) mouse keys are conveniently and intuitively placed. This is NOT a redesigned right-hand mouse, nor is it ambidextrous it is LEFT! The software is easy to install; though the mouse operates without it, it should be used to take full advantage of the functions. I play MMORPGs, and gave the mouse a full test drive during a six hour gaming session. It was highly responsive as compared to my wired optical mouse, and with the mouse software I was able to automatically bypass the sleep mode during gameplay. By the end of most gaming sessions my hand and arm are usually in pain, but I woke the next day without hand cramps, ready and raring to go.
- Cons: The price. This is the most I've ever spent on a mouse.
The primary and secondary buttons are preprogrammed "backward" so I had to swap them back to the standard right hand layout I'm used to. The learning curve was too hard for me. That being said, the reverse clicking is actually more comfortabe, but too hard for an old chick like me to relearn.
The price...I know I already said that, but it is a bit spendy.
- Other Thoughts: Other users complained about the lag from wireless, which I have not experienced, but I use the USB port on the front of my computer rather than the back; my computer is 8 feet from my mousing area.
Although I commented twice on the price, it is well worth the cost not to be in pain. I fully intend to purchase another one of these for work, and perhaps a third for my laptop, and one for just in case I drop and break one and one for....whatever.
Buy one. Buy two and send me the extra.
Great For Lefties
- Pros: I got this for a friend. It's about time someone made a mouse COMPLETELY for lefties. The universal mice just feel awkward on your hands. The true righty and lefty mice have a nice angle/curve to them and make them alot more comfortable for long term use
- Cons: Not sure if it's a mouse software problem, or a Windows problem, but my friend has always reversed his right and left click buttons. Using his MX700, he reversed them in Windows and they stayed that way. On this mouse, he has to set them every time he boots up the PC, because it doesn't seem to remember the setting on it's own.
- Other Thoughts: Another quality Logitech product

Finally, someone is looking out for us Leftys
- Pros: Outstanding fit and comfort, i just cant believe how much better a Left hand mouse feels and functions.I may just buy another to have a spare on hand.

Great for what I need
- Pros: Besides the IM and mail notifications, everything works perfectly. I like having volume control on the mouse, and the overall feel is excellent. I do not have any problems with the wireless signal either.
- Cons: The IM and mail notification support MSN messenger, Yahoo, and Outlook - nothing more. I don't use these programs, so the buttons are useless to me.
- Other Thoughts: If you don't care about the cons I listed and are left-handed, this is definitely a good buy.
Very Good Mouse
- Pros: This is a very nice mouse. Being a laser mouse, it has great tracking on almost any surface(I've found it only has problems on some reflective surfaces, not enough of a problem to take an egg away). The battery life is also amazing. I think I've had to change the batteries twice maybe three times, and I've owned this mouse over two years. When the batteries do start to go, the indicator on top is very nice to let you know. Logitech's software, SetPoint, is pretty nice, too. I could customize all 12 buttons (yes, 12), besides the left and right buttons, which I don't know why you would want to change those. Plus, it let you customize different buttons for different programs! I think Logitech did a very nice job with this software.
The mouse also has a very nice feel to it. It fits in your hand nicely and doesn't feel cheap at all. All the buttons are still crisp and precise when I click them, two years after buying it, too!
Overall, a great mouse and buy!
- Cons: For some reason, I couldn't get the email and IM buttons to work with anything other than Outlook, and Yahoo, but I wouldn't use that feature anyways. Also, when the batteries start getting low the mouse starts to jump around the screen a lot, but that is to be expected.
Also there is some type of rubberized stuff that is on the sides of the mouse, on the black part, to give it a rubbery feeling(which I personally like, some people might not). But around the year and couple months mark, it started peeling off on the right side, just the slightest amount. For some reason, just a few little specks peeled and then it hasn't peeled since, so I don't know what that is all about, but it also happened after more than a year of heavy usage.
- Other Thoughts: I have the right handed version of this mouse, but I couldn't find it anymore...I guess Newegg only sells the lefty one now. =)
I bought it with a Mail-in-rebate and it took kinda long, but that's Logitech not newegg. Their tech support was still good even though, their timing isn't the best.
Newegg's customer service is amazing as always!
