- Pros: It's a Logitech product. =D
Looks cool. Sits comfortably on top of my LCD monitor with its flexible support stand (which I didn't know was flexible until I tried to move it). Nice clear image. Lots of extra features. Privacy features are nice to have. Easy and simple installation. Nice price. Got a huge kick out of the "Follow Me" feature.
- Cons: Umm... nothing I can think of other than "Low Light Boost" dropping the framerate down to what looked like 15fps, but the picture looks fine even without LLB on.
- Other Thoughts: I haven't tried the sound part, but as far as the camera goes, I'm loving it. My last webcam was actually some free gift we got for signing up with an ISP, and the quality was horrible. All I have left to say about this is that, if this is supposed to be for people on a budget, I'm stoked to find out what the high-end is like.
First Web Cam
- Pros: I'm a dark skinned black male and web cam's don't usually cater to my complexion but this one is excellent.
- Cons: Frame Rate is on the slower side. Well slower than I'd Like.
- Other Thoughts: I'm happy with the amount of money I spent for it.
linux
- Pros: Works with Skype in Linux. Picture quality is nice. Microphone works.
- Cons: Somewhat large. Not the cheapest. Requires drivers that aren't in the kernel.
Took some fiddling in xorg.conf to get it to send clear video in Skype, but the incoming image is still scrambled (though I don't know how much that has to do with this cam)
- Other Thoughts: Doesn't look like the first two pictures. But how it does look matches my Cherry keyboard quite nicely (black in the middle, silver on the outside).
