Logitech takes mousing to a new high with the wireless MX Air 8-button mouse! Not only does this mouse work with laser precision on your desktop, but it’s designed with a free space motion sensor, which allows you to mouse in the air, as well. You can adjust your PC-based media volume by waving the mouse to the left or right, and skip tracks with a flick of the wrist. The 2.4 GHz wireless receiver lets you navigate your media from up to 30 feet from your computer.
On the desktop, you get the tight, smooth cursor control and high-speed scrolling you’d expect from a premium Logitech mouse, and a slim, comfortable body for comfortable mousing. The included charger base keeps the mouse’s Li-ion battery fully-charged, so you’ll never suffer mouse-lag, and you can forget about monthly battery replacements. You’ll be glad you let your mouse leave the desk, once you experience Air mousing!
Pros: works great, charges fast, droped it on my tile a few times and it didnt break, volume gesture is great, very comfortable, i can be standing, sitting, laying, lounging, dancing, whatever. much more freedom. I havent pluged in my regular logitech laser mouse since I got it.
Cons: still havent found a con after using it heavily for over 20 days
Other Thoughts: the other reviewer mentioned some squirlyness. I remember this also in the beginning, but i dont notice it anymore. not sure if it was wireless issue or it needed breaking in, but its steady and smooth now. I am a computer consultant/power user and still totally love this thing. when I use a regualar mouse it feels old school to me now hehe. I guess its not for everyone. you need steady hands and be good with change. there was a little bit of a learning curve in the beginning like trying to brush your teeth with your left hand, but now it feels very natural. Im hooked. thanks again logitech

Pros: works great, well made, feels good, looks good, gestures are cool
Cons: none so far
Other Thoughts: i been waiting a long time for a good air mouse, logitech did a great job. thanks! people complaining about having to recenter it are not using it properly. you dont need to point it at the screen like a wii remote. way more freedom this way. FYI: i navigated and wrote this review using ONLY the airMX from my lazyboy (onscreen tablet keyboard in vista)

Pros: Awesome.... If you want a remote for your computer get this instead. you can use the mouse in the air!!! Good Battery and great feel
Cons: had some lagging issues which I attribute to putting the wireless key for the mouse in the back of the computer by the network adapter. Also the play/pause button do not work with the VLC player (at least for me yet) But you can simply click the play button with the air mouse so no worries
Other Thoughts: I am sure at some point the honeymoon will be over

Pros: Moving to the MX Air seemed hard after using the MX and VX Revolution but the features the MX Air provides are amazing and worth every penny. I do alot of presentations and works amazing on PowerPoint's.
Cons: I miss the physical wheel of the MX and VX Revolution but the MX Air takes a few days to get used to.
Other Thoughts: Best mice iv ever used.

ok, but could be better

Pros: Works in the air pretty well once the sensitivity settings are lowered, but the programmable buttons need to be reprogrammed at each reboot, that may just be my system, I have a lot of typical "extras" turned off.
Cons: It does not work on motion sensing as I had expected. i.e. you move it right, the mouse goes right, it works on angle sensing, it has to be tipped left/right up/down, it senses where it is pointed, not motions made with it if you move you whole arm, I hope that makes sense. I guess this could be gotten used to, but it bugged me.
Other Thoughts: I ended up returning it (thank you newegg), this device defiantly has it's place as useful for some people, it was just not what I wanted.
