5 out of 5 eggsgreat

Pros: I got these for $10 off. The sound is fine for me, I'm no audiophile. No complaints about my mic from my friends. Plus, my voice is sexy anyway.

Cons: The cord is a bit thin and doesn't seem like it will stand the test of time.

4 out of 5 eggsA1

Pros: Great sound

Cons: A little tight on the head gets better with age.

Other Thoughts: This is my secound set, the first set wire going into the head set broke and the ear pad material wore off. this is after wearing them just about everyday for two years.

4 out of 5 eggsTop notch microphone

Pros: Fantastic voice quality for whoever you are talking too. The noise cancellation works well. The mic boom is not obtrusive and even when lowered out of sight, it can still hear you OK. I get compliments about the quality.

Cons: The narrow headband kind of digs into your head a bit rather than spreading out the weight like a wider band would. Ear cups are not particularly comfortable but that may just be a personal preference.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: This device functions quite easily out of the box, quite fluently with either windoze or Linux in my testing, Linux it worked nearly instantly while windoze it needed to download the driver which only took a few seconds. I primarily bought this device for secondlife and as headphones which it works perfectly for that, although it was smoother on linux where enabling push-to-talk worked right away where it sends my voice while I held the button where on windoze it worked more as a toggle where pressing the button I selected turns the mic on/off. The audio quality is atleast passable, I can hear everyone no problem, they seem to be able to hear me and it works very well with binaural audio tracks. The entire headset (minus the microphone) is padded, so it is comfortable for a few hours, I haven't really had them on for more than an hour and a half but they've never been uncomfortable within that time.

Cons: The usb connector is pretty huge, it sticks out a few inches, so this would be VERY irritating to laptop users but as a desktop user it was only a minor irritation when plugging it in and then it's out of sight out of mind. The microphone connector that lets the microphone swivel was a pretty big annoyance as it isn't locked into the right position so it can shift out of place and get stuck, so I have to grip the entire microphone attachment to hold it in place while I rotate it.

Other Thoughts: It works, but with just a few odd kinks, so overall it seems worth the price.

1 out of 5 eggsGamers Beware!

Pros: Clear sounds.

Cons: Logitech has no driver support for this product. It will not work with games consistently.

Other Thoughts: Only way to make it work for games is thru Nvidia Control panel by disabling HDMI sound. Headset will work until you restart your PC and then it will not work with games at all no matter what setting you change. Pass on this if you are a gamer. It is cheap but worthless for gaming. Logitech has no drivers for the headset.

3 out of 5 eggsHeadset Review

Pros: Good for the price. Have lasted me over a year.

Cons: They hurt my ears after I have wore them for a couple hours. If your head isn't up right they usually off (I'm not sure if it is just my head).

Other Thoughts: You can get a better pair for cheaper. I would recommend getting a cheaper, less ear hurting, pair.

4 out of 5 eggsLogitech ClearChat

Pros: Good audio on both ends. My mic sounds clear to anyone on Skype or when I stream, and all audio through my computer comes through clearly.

Cons: I sometimes have trouble with this depending on which USB port I plug it into. I recommend finding one port that you are sure works and keeping it there.

Other Thoughts: Great headset if you are looking for something under $50, as it has been going strong for almost a year.
