3 out of 5 eggsGreat!.... while they last

Pros: This is the most comfortable headset I've ever owned. They fit well, and the open ear design really helps with keeping sweat to a minimum with extended use.

Cons: Cheap wiring. Shortly after I bought them (4ish months) one of the speakers stopped working. I continued to use them after for a little over a year when the other speaker finally cut out as well.

Other Thoughts: I really like this design! Between the behind the head arch, the comfort of the ear pieces, and the over all sound quality from both mic and speakers, I was really disappointed when these went south due to cheap wiring. If the price was around $25 I would probably pick up 2 or 3 and not even complain. I would love to see Logitech come out with an updated version!

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't last a month

Pros: Received these as a replacement for another pair of Logitech headphones that failed, so I didn't have to pay anything.

Cons: Overall sound quality was very poor. Everything sounded too quiet even when the volume was turned all the way up. All the connections were very poor. Touching the volume adjustment on the headphones would make the right speaker cut out. Finally where the cable that connects to the headphones went bad and now no sound at all comes out of the left side. Logitech replaced these for a sixteen dollar pair of headphones that went bad, so I thought I was getting a good deal. Nope, these were worse than the previous pair I had, which actually lasted almost a year.

Other Thoughts: Wasn't even worth the price I paid, which was nothing. Will not buy another pair of Logitech headphones again.

3 out of 5 eggsGood while they last.

Pros: Sound quality is good, microphone quality is good.

Cons: Cabling is shoddy at best. The headphones WILL short out between 6 months and a year.

Other Thoughts: For me, $40 barely acceptable for a 1 year life span. I've had a few of these and the only reason I haven't bought anything else is because I know the sound quality on these is good.

If $40 is a large chunk of change from your budget, I'd suggest that lesser headsets might produce a lesser quality of audio, but would probably last longer. And really when the most you need to hear is, "Pills here!", what level of quality do you really need? :)

1 out of 5 eggsBad...

Pros: Well so far I have had 2 of these, only pro is, it's fairly cheap

Cons: where do I start.... Fit on your ears poorly, hurt after only a couple hours, sound quality is DECENT at best, the way this headset sits on your ears, it's almost to far away, you can barely hear, both sets I had.... the sound went out in the left ear after only a couple months of use.

Other Thoughts: I Love logitech, but a few products in their line make them look bad....such as this product........SKIP IT, SAVE YOUR MONEY.

2 out of 5 eggsMixed bag

Pros: Comfortable for those who can't stand heavier sets.

Cons: The quality is subpar at best. I was given two of these as a gift one year. One lasted about 6 months, the other just over a year and half. Half way through the second pairs life span I begun causing massive ear bleeds for all those on the opposite end of vent. A wind tunnel effect that requires fiddling with the mic in order to undue for a short time before it returns.

The cause? From what I can tell, the product is simply not well built. The slightest adjustment to the mic position would cause these things to convert my voice into the most powerful sonic boom possible. Needless to say, I've had my fill.

Other Thoughts: I only used this headset as a mic, nothing more.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks for me...

Pros: I've owned this headset for at least 2 years (mine aren't USB, 3.5mm only) and they've worked out great. The sound is clear and I can wear these for hours with no discomfort at all. Built-in mic is nice and doesn't get in the way.

Cons: Minor problems with the in-line volume controller. Turning it up or down causes one speaker to be a little quiter/louder than the other. As long as it's fully turned up, it's fine. Friend complains on occasion that it's difficult to hear me talk, but I can't blame this on the headset as any volume tests I do sound fine. Mic isn't flexible, but no big deal to me.

Other Thoughts: Not sure why this has such bad reviews. My friend bought 2 of these, brand new, on a well-known auction site, for $10 each (remember, no USB). It's been the best headset I've ever had. I'm not deducting eggs for the volume control problem because I use my media keyboard to control volume.

4 out of 5 eggsA+ Headset

Pros: Excellent quality all round. I've never owned a better headset.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This will be my second set not because they broke or failed in any way, but because I crushed them with my chair. I would recomend this headset to anyone.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best I have ever used

Pros: Great sound long cord and good mic. Design allows for good ventilation and comfy ears.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: Most people don't understand that these fit by sliding the top of your ear between the inner and outer ring this helps to center over the ear as well as hold them in place.

They may not fit people with smaller ears but most should have no problem.

3 out of 5 eggsEh...

Pros: -Nice enough sound, good price
-Volume and mute built into cord control
-Cord length

Cons: -The mic mute/unmute toggle won't 'click' into position easily. I'll have the mic on and working, then the next day I come back and the mic is muted and the toggle switch has migrated into a middle position...not even all the way over to 'mute.' I'll need to force it back into unmute again, a bit annoying when you sit down and start talking only to realize a half hour later no one can hear you.

Other Thoughts: I'm a girl, and have a small-ish head I suppose in comparison to most guys, therefore these headphones don't 'cup' my ears snugly enough so the weight of the headset (which is hefty enough) is entirely on the tops of my ears. As you can guess, it hurts a lot after a while.

If you have a small head and small ears, beware!

5 out of 5 eggsw00t w00t

Pros: These have been with me for a lil over 3 years now and just now, the right ear connector is starting to fail me. My friend told me about the reviews he had seen previously and warned me abotu them, but i bought these on whym and they are GREAT, so, i can play a bit of my WoW and still go out for a nightly panty raid and not have to worry about my hair lookin a bit disfunctified. The gap the padding creates is wonderful, because my gf doesnt like me gaming in the first place so i can still hear her nagging me or whatever she's doing behind me. Sound quality is great. I listen to rock, techno, and some random other stuff and I never have any problems. If you're looking for uber bass, these are not the ones for you. So, don't buy a 40 dollar pair of headphones and expect the world from them. Buy a pair of bose. For average, gaming, audio, video streaming, raiding, etc. these are great. Highly recommended and will be buying another in the next week or so due to my current problem

Cons: Oh, and something that wouldn't fit in the pros window. The cord length is wonderful and the volume on the cord another sweet pro.

Other Thoughts: I have to hook the wire around the mic to have it with no glitches, BUT this is ONLY because recently i have started babysitting my friends daughter and fouind her dragging these through the house the other day by the cord and then it hit me, thats why it's glitchign in the first place!

These ppl with these bad reviews are ppl who are cheap and expect the world out of a $40 pair of headphones. Sry, not gonna happen. :-(
