4 out of 5 eggsNice mouse except......

Pros: 1. Works great
2. Connect easily to my OS X Mountain Lion on a 2011 Macbook Pro
3. Good size not to small
4. Tracks good no problems
5. Scrolls well.
6. Price is good
7. Good Weight

Cons: Only one con and for me it's a bad con. The sides of the mouse are very smooth. I have a problem with gripping this mouse. If it had a small rubber pad on each side of the mouse this mouse would be perfect.

Other Thoughts: I'm replacing my Microsoft USB mouse. This mouse seems to work better than my older mouse. I'm thinking about adding a Velcro strip on each side to help me grip better.

Cons: not really a con, but the clicking is a bit loud.

Other Thoughts: not really a con, but the clicking is a bit loud. a little expensive but you get what you pay for. :) will wait for price to go down to buy a second one.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Have had this for 3 years now - still holding up, I am super abusive on all my equipment, and its still solid. No dongle which is nice, long battery life, and it stays connected. Pretty accurate too.

Cons: the click does "feel" a little cheap, but its the best Bluetooth mouse I have seen and used.

Other Thoughts: Used with Macs and PCs

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: None. I own a lot of Logitech products and like them all so I will just assume this was a quirk.

Cons: Poor Quality control by Logitech, and return for replacement, only. Not fair.

Other Thoughts: I went to a local Store and bught the same mouse so I could verify what was wrong since my laptop was new. It worked fine. I will use the replacement on another computer I plan to buy soon for one of my kids.

1 out of 5 eggsNot so good

Pros: Looks nice. Wheel can be moved sideways to scroll left to right, which is very handy.

Cons: Way too much delay and jitter. I guess to save battery life it shuts off after a few seconds, then when you move the mouse, the pointer stalls, then jumps unpredictably and far. Pointer moves with a slight, but perceptible jitter. I thought I'd get used to it, but no, so I'm going to ditch this mouse.

Other Thoughts: I recently used a Logitech Bluetooth mouse that did not have these problems, but it was at a temp job and I forgot to note the model number.

5 out of 5 eggsBest BT Mouse, Especially for Mac

Pros: This is absolutely the best BT mouse I've ever used, and maybe even the best overall mouse I've used too. The drivers for OS X are pretty neat. They allow you to customize what the buttons do, such as sideways clicks on the mouse wheel which you can assign expose functions such as dashboard, switching spaces and showing the desktop among many others. I use those shortcuts constantly and miss them when I'm at the mac lab at school. I like this mouse much more than the Mighty Mouse. It never skips, and only takes a few seconds to reconnect after it goes to sleep. Just click and shake and its right back. The battery life is also really good, usually lasting me around 45 days before I recharge.

Cons: When I take my MBP to class, I usually turn off BT to save battery life. When re-pairing the mouse and computer, make sure that you click the connect button on the mouse first, then turn on BT and click the mouse button or it won't work. Order of operation is key! Not really a con, probably works this way for most BT mice.

Other Thoughts: This mouse matches the Apple Wired and Wireless aluminum keyboard perfectly. With its white keys on aluminum, and this mouse which is white on top and silver on the sides, it's a perfect match. Also, if your mouse is getting all jittery then REPLACE THE BATTERIES! They are probably low, or you are probably using some alkalines like a true noob.

Go NewEgg! You've always been my favorite.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse for MacBook

Pros: I like the smooth texture and finger indentations..
Instantly pairs up with my bluetooth macbook, and obviously NO Dongle or cord!
Aside from a momentary lag when coming out of sleep mode, very consistent mousing response and variable surfaces, even my pant leg.
Nice medium size - bigger than most laptop mice, smaller than all desktop mice.
The little bag is a great add and I can carry my apple remote in there too.

Cons: No cons really. With any wireless device you will occasionally need to restore connections but this is normal and well worth the minor inconvenience.

Other Thoughts: Also be sure you are using good batteries. I picked up a decent pair of Sony AA type 2500mAh Rechargeable Ni-MH (2 pairs actually - 1 set for back-up) batteries and even after two months of daily use the mouse is still going strong on the originally charged set!

1 out of 5 eggsSo choppy, its unusable.

Pros: Requires no dongle. Pairs up fine with MBP and MacMini.

Cons: Excessively choppy, very laggy even when it's working. No matter how near or close to my notebook the mouse got, it would not track steadily for more than half a second before cutting out for a moment, then tracking again for another half second, etc. This is what I (and many other here) refer to as 'chop'.

Occasionally it does track correctly for a few consecutive seconds, but input response is very slow, I'd say around 100ms. Its enough to miss buttons and menus, etc. Forget doing any graphics or gaming.

Other Thoughts: I ended up using this for a couple of months to control my HTPC (1.6 MacMini), which was a continually frustrating experience, and replaced it as soon as I got around to figuring out a better solution.

Do yourself a favor and get a VX Nano if you want a notebook mouse without a giant dongle.

3 out of 5 eggsso-so mouse for mac

Pros: - small
- carrying case
- OK tracking

Cons: I bought this mouse to use with my macbook. The clicking feels "cheap" and the movement across most surfaces felt "scrapey". I was just not happy with the overall performance. This was the second mouse I tried, (Microsoft was first). I used it for a week or so, and then gave up.

Other Thoughts: Unlike some users on here, I loved my mighty mouse that came with my iMac when I converted to Mac. It is now almost 2 years old and I have had minimal difficulty with the track ball - nothing that could not be fixed with a bit of patience. Having clean hands goes a long way toward a long life for mice with this feature. :) So, after two unsatisfactory mice for my macbook, I broke down and bought the wireless MM version for my macbook and I am once again a happy camper. I am not a gamer, but I do spend a lot of time using my 'puter, so the mouse gets a good workout.
