5 out of 5 eggsDad likes it

Pros: Logitech makes great mice/trackballs. Solid performance very accurate if you like trackball mice.

Cons: I personally don't care for trackball mice. The driver is somewhat limiting in the assignment of buttons in my experience. Same with all Logitech drivers(I have the Logitech Wave keyboard/wireless laser mouse).

Other Thoughts: I bought this for my dad and he loves it. The price was great and shipping was fast.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Mouse

Pros: Nice ergonomic structure, feels comfortable. Wheel moves well and has good individual clicks as you scroll the wheel. Very responsive.

Cons: Right click is too sensitive on this unit, may not be an issue with all models. I can't tell if/when I've clicked.

Other Thoughts: Good mouse overall, especially for $13 w/free shipping.

5 out of 5 eggsCan't be without one of these

Pros: For gaming, I can't think of any other device that works better, at least for me. The thumb pointer control is very precise, easy to use, and doesn't require moving the controller base.

Cons: Just like the user below noted, they do tend to clog up with gunk, BUT are easily cleaned.

Other Thoughts: Also like the user below, I picked up 2 of these while on sale. Don't understand their lack of popularity either. I've been worried they will be discontinued, thus when I saw the Shell Shock deal, I grabbed 2 of them (for less than 1 regular priced shipped). My wife swears by them too, hates regular mice.

5 out of 5 eggsThis is a Gem

Pros: This is a gem. It is much better than a traditional mouse:
1. It takes up much less desk space.
2. You can move the cursor around the screen so much more quickly and accurately than you can with a traditional mouse.
3. You can even give the ball a shove and a spin to move quickly to where you want it.

Once you use it you can't go back. It makes you just so much more efficient with a cursor.

Cons: It gets mucked up with dust and debris from time to time. When this happens, just grab a pen or pointed item, go to the bottom of the device and give the ball a little poke through the hole placed there for this very purpose.

The ball pops out and you can clean it up just by rubbing your fingers around in the ball's socket. It's so easy and quick. Then just pop the ball right back in.

Other Thoughts: Try it for a few months and you will wonder why it isn't the predominant type of mouse - and you will not want to go back.

I just bought 2 of them on the special just to keep them around. Sometimes good products get retired just because others lower quality products manage to gain enough critical mass.

5 out of 5 eggsbest mouse ever

Pros: Perfect fit for my hand, and I'm a 6' tall guy. The buttons work well. Awesome for gaming in Guild Wars, WoW and Mythos.

Cons: The scroll wheel is a little stiff to use as a middle button. I usually end up scrolling a couple of clicks whenever I try to use the middle button.

Other Thoughts: I've had one of these since about 1995 when they were the Mouseman Marble. I upgraded to the Trackman model with a scroll wheel as soon as they became available. I just bought two of these as a Shell Shocker, one for work and another one for home to replace the mouse that came with my Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 6000.

I'm not sure what others are talking about with sticking buttons, etc. I've used one of these for years and never had an issue. Yes, the ball gets a little grimy and the supports in the mouse get a build up on them. It's no big deal to pop the ball out, wipe it down, pop it back in, and go on fragging. :-)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat TrackBall

Pros: I've used Logitech TrackBall for over 10 years, and have never had issues with it, and the design fits my had perfectly. When i was building my new system, I didn't want any other. Stationary, you don't need the extra desk space to move it around like a standard mouse.

Cons: A little pricey.

Other Thoughts: If you never used a trackball design before, it takes a little to get used to, but in my opinion it is way better than the standard mouse.

4 out of 5 eggsNot a Bad Mouse

Pros: Moves mouse icon on screen, has scroll button

Cons: Not as good in games as old marble mouse was

Other Thoughts: Takes getting used to but not as easy to use as old marble mouse was in games. Works and more convenient in web browsing with scroll button
