5 out of 5 eggssure wish they re-introduced this fine mouse!

Pros: outstanding mouse..I am pleased that I bought two of them , back when they were priced super low,.! the wheel on this mouse has the option of a ratcheting effect or a smooth effect..it scrolls very good offers the best of both "scrolling" worlds..also has the left and right scrolling option..been using this mouse two of my main gaming rigs, for well over a year, and they just last and last! one even flew across the room and slammed into the wall, and is the first mouse that survived my cousins violent gaming tiffs!..last but not least its a laser mouse and it has a 1000dpi capability, which makes playing an mmop type game easily play-able

Cons: they stopped offering them!!

Other Thoughts: wish they reintroduced this model!!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for Gaming too!

Pros: I prefer this mouse over my G500 that i used to use till i got this mouse!! I play alot of counterstrike and Battlefield and this mouse works very very good as i was beyond impressed. Accuracy is super good, feel is average, the wheel isn't as stiff as i prefer but it still good to average. Works great on different surfaces, from my couch, to notebinder, to my QCK mousepad.

Cons: They stopped making them!!

Other Thoughts: I would reccomend to everyone especially for $15 u aint got nothing to loose and everything to gain!!!

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Mouse

Pros: Got a good price on it, had a rebate too. Has that semi-ruberized finsh over much of it.

Cons: Buttons are a bit stiff, be nice if the mouse was a bit wider.

Other Thoughts: The real story here is how Newegg went to bat for me, even on an inexpensive product like this. UPS lost the first one I ordered. Got as far as onto the truck for delivery to my home. but days later.. no mouse. UPS wouldn't do jack.. Called up newegg & they got on UPS and shipped me out another mouse ( got it in 2 days ) without charge. My first experience with Neweggs customer support.. Was pleased with the experience.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Mouse for the $

Pros: - Accurate -- no jittering
- Relatively inexpensive but good quality, especially if you can get it on sale
- I like the fast scroll option -- it makes long PDFs a breeze to scroll through.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I know everyone is going wireless, but I still prefer a corded mouse rather than having to deal with batteries.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Satisfied

Pros: +Comfortable design
+Precision movement
+Hyper-scroll rocks

Cons: -Third button is below the mouse wheel. It takes some time to get used to this.

Other Thoughts: There weren't any instructions regarding the mouse wheel toggle. Took me a couple of days before I realized I could press down on the mouse wheel to switch between hyper scrolling and click-to-click scrolling.

5 out of 5 eggsLogitech RX1500

Pros: Great deal for the sale price under $15 on this mouse
Logitech Laser
Corded - better for some uses
1000 dpi
Sturdy build for the price
Hyper scroll/click wheel options
Recognized by Logitech Setpoint (via download or previously owned) and therefore somewhat programmable

Cons: None that makes me dislike this mouse
- OEM/Business packaging might be awkward for the novice
- No software (again, no biggie, but might be for some)
- Wheel "middle" button and hyper scroll/click scroll are reversed.

Other Thoughts: Another reviewer gave a negative review because the wheel doesn't click when scrolling. This is a hyper scroll mouse which basically means you can spin the wheel for super fast scrolling. It does have the click scroll option as well. You have to press down on the wheel to disengage the hyper scroll and engage the click scroll.

That disengage/engage function replaces what would normally be a wheel "middle" button and instead adds the button behind the wheel separately. On other Logitech mice these buttons are reversed which actually make more sense from a functional view. It's not that difficult to get used to but would have been nice if this were mentioned in the in the description since there are no instructions (OEM/Business packaging).

Despite these miner issues I still give this mouse 5 eggs because it does work exactly as intended by the manufacturer to and in that respect there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

3 out of 5 eggsKind of weird feel

Pros: It was cheap.

The laser tracking is pretty good.

Cons: I have small-medium sized hands and this thing forces the ball of my palm down on the desk and puts my wrist in a weird position. I can imagine people with bigger hands having cramps while using this. It's basically way too low/short. It should be about a quarter inch taller.

The middle button is so far behind the mouse wheel it forces my wrist into an even weirder position whenever I have to click it ( it replaces the mouse wheel click, why? ) I can kind of hit it with the middle of my middle finger but that takes getting used to.

Other Thoughts: I hope it doesn't give me carpal tunnel.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Smooth, love being able to switch between fast scroll and click scroll, best mouse I've used in the sub-$15 price range.

Cons: No side buttons; however, as I never use them, I don't miss them.
Slightly less easy on the hand than a Logitech MX518.

Other Thoughts: Bought these from a popular 1-a-day sale site and liked it so much I'm buying two from Newegg now.
