Great Camera
- Pros: I deployed 10 of these for work at my location and we have a total of 100 over our entire enterprise through out the nation. Very easy set up. The cameras works flawlessly. The users that have very little technical knowledge have had no issues with them. Picture quality is good
- Cons: A little pricey but worth the money.
- Other Thoughts: I will be buying a couple of these from New Egg within the next month or so for personal use.
Of course it will be Blurry with Right Light.
- Pros: The camera will be razor sharp if you disable the "right light" technology, without any blur. It's like any camera, even those costing hundreds of dollars, if you boost the camera's light intake, it will ghost on moving objects. This is impossible to avoid, and anyone who uses professional cameras can verify this.
Right light is great in a dark room, but if you are using your webcam in a bright room, you will want to disable right light and you're free to move as fast as you want with zero blur. Of course, you can choose a webcam without right light, but you will have no option other than to use a strong light source in the dark. (oxymoron?)
Don't blame Logitech for providing an alternative!
- Cons: None really. The colors are noticeably better than the Logitech Fusion, which looked dull. It's a nice webcam and the right light tech, though very misleading, is a good alternative when you're in a dark room and don't want bright lamps in your eyes. The drawback is you must not move much or it will blur.
Philips makes great webcams as well. The Toucam was a great cam for dark rooms, but not as clear as this 9000. If you always use the webcam at night, the Toucam might be a smarter choice since it doesn't ghost as much. It uses a more sensitive lens, but makes the image washed out in bright rooms. Pick your poison!
The Toucam is like a Fuji digicam, where the Logitech is like a Canon. Pro's will know what I mean!
- Other Thoughts: A bit overpriced, but it doesn't have any flaws which would make you want to replace it either!

Great camera
- Pros: My business involves vision systems and video conferencing so we've taken a close look at many webcams. This camera is noticeably better than most others: image is great, able to sustain high frame, hi res for excellent video, focuses quickly and can focus down to about 12". If these aren't the results you are getting then your problem is elsewhere
- Cons: Wish Logitech published an API.
Awesome Webcam!!!
- Pros: I purchased two of these and installed one on an HP Pavillion 2500+ X2 and the other on a lowly Dell P4 2.8...both run great and give exception results. Phenomenal clarity, software bundle is really nice with a great tool bar that sits on the desktop, too easy to install...two or three clicks and boom its running. Press the button on the camera and intantly the software launches...very nice looking web cam...nice adjustable stand to perch on top of monitor on on desktop. Anyone who criticizes this product shouldn't own a computer they are that good...doesn't slow down the computer either and I get a very clear, non jerky video and very clear pictures from the software that came with the camera.
- Cons: The cord could be a few feet longer...other than that whats not to like, one of the best products I've owned...great quality, NO HASSLE install...this is what I want as a consumer!
- Other Thoughts: Oh yeah...I ordered both cameras at 12:45 in the afternoon...received them 10:30am the next morning...WOW great job Newegg!!!
