4 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse!

Pros: This mouse is GREAT! I've been using the G9 model for gaming since it's been out. I love the quick adjustments you can make with the sensitivity and the scroll without using the software. The mouse is relatively small but my hands fit around this mouse perfectly. I havent been able to use any Razor or Steel Series mouse since!

Cons: Mouse may be a little small for you large handed people. Also, I've owned about 5 of these suckers. The mesh around the wire will usually wear away with time and cause loss of connection in my experience. I always get my money out of it though.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Mouse, one major flaw

Pros: Great feeling mouse, customizable with colors and weights, also smooth grip and coarse grip, your preference. Solid usb cord on mouse, click buttons clicked wonderfully

Cons: The scroll wheel. This one review I have seen over and over, about the scroll wheel breaking and not feeling right. I can confirm this 100%. I bought this mouse and the Corsair M65 to try them both out, the Logitech scroll wheel feels like it came off a stock mouse, or even worse than a stock mouse. Its way too flimsy and feels cheap. It might not bother some people, but it greatly bothered me. M65 I didnt like that I had to have the coarse body, but everything else on it was great feel and build

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This is my favorite mouse.

Cons: I love this mouse so much that I'm on my 3rd one. Both previous mice died the same way. The cable cover twists and turns with regular use and eventually "suffocates" and kills the cable. When it started happening on my third mouse I just cut the cloth cover off the cable. It's been almost year since I got it and it started double clicking like crazy.

Other Thoughts: I went through Logitech support and they sent me a brand new G700s. I got to keep my g9x too, which is still usable for non-gaming stuff I suppose.

The G9x has been discontinued by Logitech, meaning that the current stock on the market is all that's left. If you want to buy one I suggest you do it now.

4.5 eggs for the mouse and 6 eggs for Logitech support.

Pros: user adjustable, for fast or slow mousing. replaces my mx wireless

Cons: scrolll wheel too sensitve- when moving the mouse rapidly, i will spin the scrool wheel slightly, causing web pages to scroll inadvertently.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Mouse, Bad weight tray

Pros: Feels great, very smoothe, like another extension of the hand, adjustable weight, nice sleeved cord, dpi adjustment on the fly.

Cons: The tray that you add the weights to likes to stick (only when the weights are in it..go figure) so it is very hard to get open again, to the point of needing something to pry it open

Other Thoughts: most people say just find the weight you like and then just leave it but for a $60 mouse it would be nice if everything worked and the tray didnt get stuck closed

1 out of 5 eggsIncredibly dissapointed

Pros: I really like the shape. Feels good in the hand.

Cons: Scroll wheel is very loose and wiggles side to side. There is no audible click when pressed. It makes the entire mouse feel cheap and broken, and I will be getting my money back from Newegg.

Also, not sure if this is normal but there are visible lines on the feet of the mouse, indicating it has been used before. I am not sure if this comes from Logitech testing or if they are repackaging used mice and selling them as new. Either way, Logitech should be ashamed of themselves.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet Gaming Mouse

Pros: -Excellent customization options with the software included, can make different profiles for different users or programs/games.

-The weights included with the mouse give a variety of users a further customized experience.

-The two mouse "shells" allow for users with different hand sizes to use it comfortably.

Cons: -No real cons here. I had a little issue with my computer trying to download extra software on top of the SetPoint software included with the mouse, but it has actually been even more helpful in customization.

Other Thoughts: -Looking for a gaming mouse? Look no further.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat mouse

Pros: great feel, nice adjustments possible, choice of mouse shells/covers, weights included. This is one of the best mice I've ever owned.

Cons: Wish it was cheaper, but it's not crazy expensive. so not much of a con there.

2 out of 5 eggsLogitech G9x

Pros: -DPI
-Comfortable
-Weights
-On board profile memory

Cons: -Noise: It makes a high pitch noise. I can constantly hear it when the mouse is at rest.

Other Thoughts: That's the only problem I have with it. Despite overwhelming Pros; would not buy again if it had that noise. Otherwise 5 stars.
