Logitech G35 USB 2.0 Connector Surround Sound Headset

Pros: Its sounds is really good, has great canceling noise, fits perfectly on my head, great for gaming.

Cons: The cuffs ripped of after 7 months.

Pros: Great Product. Mic mute indication. Multiple G buttons and volume roller.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: People are complaining because ventrilo and GW2 do not work together. THIS IS NOT ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE HEADSET. To correct this issue, close ventrilo, right click on ventrilo, select run as administrator. This is because of the operating system and this issue has been a problem on multiple headsets and platforms.

Pros: 1. Mic mutes when raised
2. Nice big mute button on the side and easy to reach
3. Nice and long cable
4. Cloth covered cable
5. Great noise reduction (maybe too great)
6. Excellent sound quality

Cons: 1. Way too heavy (still kind of heavy after a period of adjustment), you will need a steel skull for this.
2. Headband isn't perfectly set in its place (doesn't bend around the curve but turns in a couple places). Though, this is mostly a cosmetic con.
3. Huge size, you will look like you are wearing a helmet

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't recommend it for long periods of wear due to the weight.

Pros: - Nice build quality
- Nice Software to map G keys
- Useful keys and buttons on the side
- Long cable

Cons: - Doesn't work with GW2 and ventrilo

Other Thoughts: I really wanted to like this headset and tried my best to fix the issues with guild wars 2 audio and ventrilo mic but at the end I had to return it.

There are pages and pages of forums talking about issues with these headsets and GW2 and ventrilo. It basically doesn't work with ventrilo if you are running GW2 (audio input doesn't work).

It seems like logitech has abandoned support for these headsets even though the price is still above $100...

It is a shame because these headphones were really nice and works flawlessly with every other game and the audio input worked fine on other chat clients. But somehow it doesn't work with ventrilo. Also the audio is distorted in GW2 and you basically switch to speakers or other headset after a couple of minutes of play otherwise your ears will hurt for a couple of days.

This is just a warning for GW2 and ventrilo users. Stay away from this headset. For other games it should work fine.

Pros: Good sound, does everything in a well rounded manner from music to tournament level FPS gaming.

Cons: Doesn't interface well with a lot of programs, common bug when using duel monitors, mic doesn't give you feed back sound so you don't know what you sound like when you speak.

I stream a lot of high end MMO gaming and mid-high level FPS gaming, I tried three streaming programs before I found one that I could jimmy rig in to letting me use a USB headset like the G35. Major pain in the neck and even once I get it working I had to fix it every few days to keep it working.

USB headsets do NOT play well with some VoIP programs like Ventrilo and TeamSpeak3. Mumble it seemed to work fine with 98% of the time, but every now and then it would break down a bit and I'd have to reset an option.

Overall though those bugs can be annoying, but not breaking. What made me give up on the G35 was when a bug started to crop up with my duel monitors where when I would be using the one monitor to play music, and the other to play my game. The game sound would work fine, but the music would crackle and pop. At first this was just a once in a week thing, but it broke down to the point where it was almost all the time and drove me nuts. Tried a lot of "fixes" but none of them helped for long. I'm told that if you have a very good CPU then it helps prevent this, but seeing as I have one of the best gaming ones on market, I don't think it will help as much as some claim it will.

Other Thoughts: If I wasn't a hard core gamer, I would love this headset. And did love it for a few months, but the longer I had it the more annoying the bugs were. Gave the headset to my mum for her work and picked up a new headset for myself.

Pros: Excellent sound quality
Properly tuned bass (Not like those beats by dre where all you can hear is bass)

Noise cancelling microphone

Cons: Size adjustments are not tight enough, must be re adjusted frequently

Other Thoughts: This is a great headset. You definitely get your money's worth. The sound is great, especially for gaming. They are well made, in terms of construction. They are plenty sturdy if you treat them right. These aren't toys to be smashed and thrown around, they are fine tuned audio tools. If you treat them right, they will return the favor. I have had mine for almost 6 months, I use them every day, and they look and sound exactly the same as the day I took them out of the box.

Pros: Everything about this headset is amazing, the sounds is awesome and with games like Diablo 3 the surround sound makes you feel like you're in the game it's just that great of quality.

Other Thoughts: I've own this headset for almost a year and i have never experienced any of the problems the people below me have, the braided cable makes it so it doesn't bind together and tangle like normal wires do. the ear pieces have not changed since ive got them still looks new and i use my headset everyday. i recommend these to everyone i know. the features are really cool specially messing with people/friends with the voice changer.

Great headset and imo it's a must buy for gaming/music anything, the mic quality is perfect too

Cons: here are the problems: cheap vinal covers wear off fairly quickly and the connecting wire frayes farely quickly other then that run real smoothe

Pros: must I say that N/A has no idea what he is talking about the only good thing about this headset is the sound

Cons: earpiece covers are cheap and deteriorate very quickly,the connection wire twists and binds right at the earpiece and deteriates much to quickly then the price would indicate
