5 out of 5 eggsGood mouse.

Pros: Pretty much everything.

Cons: None that I can find.

Other Thoughts: I've had this mouse for approximately 3 years now, and I'm very satisfied with it. I can change the weights as I choose, and the infinitely scrolling mouse wheel makes some things extremely easy. The option to change the DPI on the fly is wonderful for things like BF4, when I want faster maneuverability in a tank, or a helicopter.
The three buttons on the side make for good uses such as TeamSpeak 3 push-to-talk, or programming spells, actions, or other things in a MMO.

I hope on getting the Logitech G502 soon.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: It comes with adjustable weights, also comfy thumb rest, adjustable scroll on center mouse wheel/button. on the fly adjustable DPI (freaking awesome!) side buttons are well spaced and work good for my huge hands

Cons: the side buttons do not all come with their own independent button and must be mapped to a keyboard key (lame!)

Other Thoughts: good mouse for the cost, wired with heavy duty cord, very much happy with this purchase.

1 out of 5 eggsExpensive Junk

Pros: Decent gaming mouse while it lasts..

Cons: Lasted for about a year of regular use. I bought a $12 off-brand that's lasted me just as long and has about the same grade components.
Logitech makes some good products- this isn't one of them.

1 out of 5 eggsThe fun continues

Pros: It's actually a great mouse. Fits my hand nicely, all the buttons are exactly where I want them to be

Cons: It won't last. The hammers are cheaply made for the mouse buttons and guess what you'll be holding excessively for video games? I've already had mine warranty replaced and already had to fix the second one after another couple of months. It's not worth the hassle. This is not the mouse you're looking for

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Feels perfect for my hand. It had a couple side buttons for extra use in video games. I like them for melee and crouch personally.

Cons: None

2 out of 5 eggsits good for 1 year

Pros: *weight adjustment
*fits well on your hand
*red light ;)

Cons: had it for 1 year i think, i play fps a lot (ghost recon phantom) so i use the left click everyday in intense battle. now the left click isn't functioning well when I am pressing hard the left click its not responding anymore. its annoying that i have to think about my mouse when i am shooting some1 in the face that i have to press it GENTLY so it will work! ill pick another mouse tomorrow and guess what a different brand >_<

2 out of 5 eggsFaulty button switch

Pros: Nice mouse, high DPI, can configure speed on the button, has mousewheel "clutch"

Cons: Nav buttons are annoying, sometimes accidentally hit them. Left mouse button faulty switch is an extremely common problem. After about 2 years, mine started double clicking randomly. Working with Logitech to hopefully get a replacement but the outlook from what I've seen on forums looks gloomy. Problem will likely recur -- not a keeper. My G5 on the otherhand may be worn but has no issues like this.

Other Thoughts: Would specifically avoid this model in the future due to defects.

5 out of 5 eggsOne of the best mice I've ever used

Pros: Weight is adjustable
Mouse is solid, no rattling
Very comfortable in hand
Buttons are well-placed, no accidental clicks
Locking/Unlocking scroll wheel
On-the-fly sensitivity adjustment
Sleeved cord
Accurate laser tracking

Cons: The sleeving on the cord is a fabric type. It can fray if rubbed against corners or something over a period of time. Also, the sleeving is well known to shrink over time, allowing the cord to slip out and "herniate." It speeds this up if you constantly store the mouse with the cord layered (ie. laptop case).

Other Thoughts: I've owned three of these over the past few years for a good reason. When I find a solid product, I stick with it. One of these is on their way out after 2.5 years of constant use. Intermittent clicks are turning to double-clicks, but this is solved temporarily by a hard button press.

3 out of 5 eggsLasted a Year But......

Pros: Great mouse the scroll wheel, and feel of the mouse is amazing!. I enjoyed using it up until it died on me randomly as I was browsing the web.

Support is great!
See Other Thoughts for how support handled it.

Cons: Did not last a year died on me, which i hear is common for some of them, but the support was great at getting me a replacement.

Other Thoughts: I contacted support, and got them all the information they needed to get a replacement. The coolest thing about it. They did not want my broken mouse. So it seems like they are having big issues with this one. They sent me a brand new 2013 mouse, and it worked when i plugged it in. Im now using a corsair vengeance since i did not have a backup mouse. The g500 is now my backup.

1 out of 5 eggsLogitech Fails again

Pros: When I first bought this mouse, like most logitech gear, it was great. The quality felt good, the weight tray was nice, and the on the fly dpi settings are great.

Cons: Like most Logitech gear this wore out... more quickly then it should have. Two years after I got it, the mouse buttons are starting to wear out. I get double clicks when I only click once, and if I press and hold it to move, say a web browser from one screen to another, it looses connection and stops moving the window. Just like other Logitech gear, 2 sets of speakers I bought from them also wore out in just a year or 2. This is now the last Logitech product I will ever buy, and as an IT professional and gamer, I will persuade anyone else not to buy Logitech products.
