3 out of 5 eggsGreat while it lasts

Pros: *Tracks amazingly well
*Fast for a wireless mouse
*Fits comfortably in your hand
*Logitech's support is responsive
*Battery lasts forever

Cons: I have owned this mouse for about 3 years, and in that time I have run into the same problem twice.. after using it for awhile, the mouse starts sending double-clicks instead of single clicks, making doing things like highlighting text or dragging an icon around nearly impossible. Logitech was able to RMA the mouse for me once, which solved the problem for about a year. I am now faced with buying a new one, or buying a comparable mouse from someone else (there aren't many).

Other Thoughts: The mouse works amazingly well and is very reliable, for about 1-1.5 years.. just expect to re-invest in a mouse once the warranty is up.

1 out of 5 eggsLatent Defect

Pros: Comfort
Unifying receiver

Cons: Functionality degrades over time
Erratic operation

Other Thoughts: I have three of these mice plus the K800 wireless keyboard. I like unifying receiver with its low profile and single USB requirement. Over time, however, the mouse develops problems of double clicking on its own when the left mouse button is single clicked, dropping highlighted areas when the left button and shift key are released, and highlighting areas in excess of or outside of the scope of what I tried to highlight. It's very frustrating and downright dangerous: I highlighted a folder to delete, was in a hurry, hit the delete key as I released the mouse button and watched all the folders documents from the deletion point to the end of the list turn to highlight and disappear. Fortunately I was able to restore them. A mouse this unreliable is unacceptable. This is a known and common problem. See the many complaints on Logitech's forum about double-clicking. I have the latest drivers and have tried everything I can think of, such as uninstalling and reinstalling, putting the dongle on an extension cable right next to the mouse, and cussing. It angers me to feel compelled to replace such an expensive mouse, but Logitech seems disinterested in addressing the problem. Needless to say, the replacement won't be from Logitech.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate on battery issue from previous review

Pros: Form fitting.
Can be charged while using.
Works on every surface I've tried.
Customization of buttons (to a degree of course).
On/Off switch.

Cons: May need to replace stock battery

Other Thoughts: This is an update to a review I posted on 9/27/13. At that time, I owned two of these mice. My first one had excellent battery life, needing charging only once every couple weeks even though it was used daily at work.
My second was purchased for home to replace a previous MX Revolution model. This second mouse had terrible battery life. The mouse itself was only used for brief periods a couple times a week, but the battery needed charging almost every other day.
After writing the original review, I replaced the battery with a standard rechargeable NiMH AA. After replacement, I have excellent battery life with this mouse as well. I think I probably plug it in once a month and it only takes 10-15 minutes to display a full charge.
I guess I got a bad battery from the manufacturer, but replacement is easy.

Cons: Not One!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Mouse

Pros: The mouse has great response on all surfaces that I could think of trying it on - except water. Watch out for that one. Can use the mouse while it's plugged in via USB mini and charging. Software is a plus even though I hate adding more to my Windows startup. Boon if you have a logitech keyboard.

Cons: The battery that is included is cr@p. It held a charge out of the box for maybe 2 days before having to be recharged. The saving grace was that I was able to charge the mouse while using it... but the bulky charging cable is too much. Would have preferred a much leaner one that was more malleable.

Other Thoughts: I actually started looking through my purchase history for this mouse only to find that I didn't purchase it here. I purchased it on another popular site because it was cheaper then... and still is. I really wish the price would come down a little more so that I could have purchased it here instead of there.

5 out of 5 eggsBought this mouse twice and for family

Pros: Everything about his mouse is awesome, I don't see me changing mice anytime soon at all. This mouse is so good that after I broke my other one by spilling water on it after about 2 years of ownership I bought another. My father and sister use this mouse as well and absolutely love it. Highly recommend this product.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsNot Flashy, Not Gamey, Not Ugly

Pros: I have owned MX mice for many years, from version 1 to the current. These will always be there for you, and in most cases out perform even the most sophisticated gaming mice, even ones from Ligitech.

Cons: Again I have owned MX mice for 10+ years now, and I have nothing bad to say about this.

Other Thoughts: These will be great for your desktop and laptop. I have 2 for my desktops and 1 that travels with me. You also will never need to look for a charger, you can charge it from a USB port.

Pros: Fits the hand very nicely. Great use of buttons and the scroller is wonderful for when you want to scroll really fast.

Cons: Can't think of many.

Pros: It is sleek, good looking, features a nice scroll wheel, lots of buttons, wireless, good battery life.

Cons: None- See other

Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU ARE TRYING TO GAME. ALSO the left side of the mouse cuts into the meat of my thumb. It may fit other people like a glove, but fits my average hands poorly.
