3 out of 5 eggslove the click and size but scrolling wheel has problems

Pros: The feel of click is nice and its size is just right. The laser precision is good for desktop use.

Cons: After 30 days of use, the scrolling wheel gets annoying. In order for the vertical scroll to work, you must "press down" (not to the point of triggering middle click, just enough to have the wheel firmly touch whatever its sensor area is) the wheel and then scroll. If you dont press down, even though you can hear/feel the ticks, it will not scroll. It gets annoying as it increases the strain of the hand using the mouse.

Other Thoughts: i would not buy this product again if given the choice. I would rather pay more to get something that is mechanically stronger.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse for everyday use at work

Pros: I bought this mouse to replace the wireless iMac mouse. It was too small for my hand, and I found it cramping up occasionally. This mouse is the absolute perfect size for my large hand. The buttons are well placed, and I love the ability to switch the mode of the scroll wheel. Also, I realized about 2 months after using it that the scroll wheel actually clicks to the left and right, allowing for more versatility without slapping more buttons onto it. Overall a very good mouse.

Cons: When the scroll wheel is set to free scroll, sometimes it drifts a bit and scrolls when I don't want to. I don't use this mode very often for this reason. Only when I have to scroll very fast very quickly.

Other Thoughts: I only use this mouse for work, not gaming, so I can't attest to its use for that. As an everyday non-gaming mouse, it suits me very well.

5 out of 5 eggsvery comfortable, standard mouse for our office

Pros: as long as this mouse is available it will be the standard-issue mouse in our office. It is very comfortable, works well and looks pretty sharp in an office setting.

Cons: I like my mice to have a little weight, but not "loaded full of AA batteries kind of weight". that being said I wish this mouse was about 15-20 grams heavier.

5 out of 5 eggs2 years daily use.

Pros: Buying this mouse for a 4th time. I like the ergo, and the hyper scroll is great for database use.

Cons: Used heavily daily. Lasted 2 years. Motion is now jumpy...no longer smooth. Love this mouse when new.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it

Pros: I've had two of these mice. The first one lasted a few years with heavy use. I bought another because I liked the first so much. The second one has lasted longer but I use it less often. I would buy another if this one failed.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse for massive spreadsheets

Pros: Great hyper scroll feature
Very nice ergos

Cons: Tile feature of the scroll wheel could give you a bit more feedback once you use the feature. Sometimes I feel that I did not actuate the mechanism as the user feedback is minimal.

Other Thoughts: Great mouse that I use every day for work. I work a massive spreadsheets and that hyper scroll feature really helps out tremendously. Also great for web browsing.

1 out of 5 eggsWheel button almost imposible to click

Pros: Price

Cons: After using the M500 for 6 months the wheel down button is almost impossible to click. When pressing down it clicks the side buttons before clicking the down button. Its reverse from what should be normal. Many times you will hear the click when pressing down thinking your locked on only to find out it was a side click.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse

Pros: Mouse just works. Cord is long enough for just about anything. Nothing wrong with it at all (unless you hate corded mice and you have no reason to be reading this review)

Cons: Nothing

Other Thoughts: Works great, has not lost its brand new clickity feel after about a year!

5 out of 5 eggsVery Comfortable Mouse

Pros: Great ergonomical design, programable buttons, laser prescion, tilt wheel, additional software for programming. . . What else do you want.
I my line of work I have mouse in my hand 8 hours a day doing 3-D design. A comfortable mouse that fits your hand, and has programmable buttons is very important.

Cons: The right click (press-hold, and drag) feature died after a year and half. I can still use it, but a gentile hand is required. I have to settle, and find my happy place, and slow down a little while utilizing Autocad Inventor.
Although that is why Inam here, to buy another one. This will be my third one. Please don't stop making them. On second thought, I might buy two, okay three. Love this mouse.

Other Thoughts: Get 'me while you can. I love the corded version, I don't have time for delays.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works great. I'm a big fan of forward and back buttons on the side of the mouse when browsing the web.

Cons: I would prefer a model without the physical toggle for the low-friction scroll wheel mode, but I don't dislike it enough to take an egg off for it. It is sometimes in my way when I scroll or click.
