4 out of 5 eggsGood, but not...

Pros: Overall a great wheel, separate pedals, 6-button leather grip wheel and separate stick shift. Install was super simple, force feedback is great, etc.

Cons: After only 2 weeks of use the wheel will go out of alignment after just a few minutes of use. You can re-calibrate it by unplugging/replugging the USB but ya know, that's a pain in the middle of a long race. After researching the problem on the internet I found out it's common for the optical encoder (made of plastic) to either slip or crack.

Logitech is replacing the wheel but of course, I'm out of a wheel while it's being shipped (prepaid by Logitech) and replaced.

Other Thoughts: With one exception it's a great wheel.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding wheel

Pros: Good force feedback for its price, wheel feels really nice and supports 900 degree turning. Perfect for Euro Truck Simulator.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Logitech Profiler is required to set the wheel up for some games.

5 out of 5 eggs3 1/2 years and still running

Pros: 3 1/2 years and still running and still running. absolutely nothing wrong with the wheel or pedals after all this time.

Cons: Still wish logitech would update their proifiler software to make it even more functional. But it does what is needed, just no new bells or whistles after 8+years that I've had their wheels. A momo since 2006. The g27 since 2011.

Other Thoughts: linux is now supporting the logitech wheels natively

4 out of 5 eggsQuite the upgrade!

Pros: • Feels VERY well built
• Plug-and-play (as always)
• Adjustable pedal plates
• Heavy pedal stand with carpet grips
• Clutch Pedal. need I say more?
• Hard-Mounts for those with custom-built gaming rigs and stands
• Solid clamping system, Very reminiscent of the old Logitech MOMO. Full 3-clamp setup on the Gearshift block, 2 clamp setup on the wheel base.
• The base lost girth since the MOMO, but it's gained weight (Pure muscle, i might add)

Cons: Price. But its cheap compared to what's out there
According to what I've found, not supported by my xBox 360. But who cares, I bought it for my PC
Shift indicator LEDs somewhat pointless, since they're mounted out of the driver's normal field of view. they barely catch peripheral vision, but I'm looking at my tachometer and shift lights in the sim anyways.

mild heat build up with extended use, but nothing that really worries me.

Other Thoughts: Those that complain about the brakes and FFB Being weaker than they should be, I don't know what you're smoking but this is definately a fair amount of resistance compared to the MOMO I just migrated from. (It still works after 8 years, by the way) What would have been plenty of brake force on the MOMO is barely using any on the G27. It feels MUCH more authentic both in the pedals and in the steering -- Driving is MUCH more fluid and catching a sliding race car has gotten a whole lot harder. The gated shifter works well, as do all the extra buttons. As was said long ago, the LEDs work on all supported games without doing anything special. If you're like me and tend to play with your shoes on, Widen the pedal mounts -- I moved the gas to the right and the clutch to the left; leaving the brake in the middle. Just wide enough for shoes. (Now I have to get muscle memory together to remember the placement of each of the pedals....)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Wheel Worth the $300

Pros: Force Feedback is great
Haven't had any compatibility issues
Well made
A lot of buttons
2 different types of gear shifters
Made with leather and stainless steel

Cons: The brake pedal is close to the gas pedal and it's not very comfortable
A lot of cables

Other Thoughts: Even though there are cons it is still worth the $300

3 out of 5 eggsGreat wheel, poor future support.

Pros: Wheel feels great. Leather and metal predominantly, feels very high quality and is quite accurate. Force feeback works well.

Cons: No future support. Logitech has no interest in supporting PS4 or Xbox 1 consoles. Would not be surprised if it doesn't get driver updates for future Windows versions either.

Other Thoughts: Small dead zone in force feedback right at center is slightly annoying. Not a major deal.

4 out of 5 eggsWell built, pretty cool.

Pros: Everything feels very sturdy and well build especially the pedals.
The feedback on the wheel feels amazing.
Very fun to race with.

Cons: The included software is quite nice but does not allow customization for the clutch (brake and gas it does) this becomes problem in games that don't support the clutch as you cannot bind it to something else

The included cable management tunnels (I forget what they are called) are a nice feature but they don't hold the cables well for people who are going to move their wheel off their desk lots they become a hassle

The H-shift back mounting screw needs like 1.5 inchs or more to mount on so those with somewhat thinner desks (most people) you will need to put a board or something in there.

The h-shifter doesn't really have support for 12 gear shifting in games like ETS2, you can use a button to change ranges but irl there can be switches on the shifter, something like this would have been appreciated.

Other Thoughts: Overall awesome product would reccomend it to anyone but only 4 out of 5 stars mostly because of the clutch thing (I don't think they will ever fix it though)

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: -Great overall feel, very sturdy
-Much quieter due to new gearing, much smoother and odesn't grind quite the way the G25 did when you reefed on it hard
-Force Feedback feels great, very powerful and fluid
-Fully adjustable rotation distance, great for everything from casual racers to serious simulators
-Plenty of programmable buttons as opposed to the G25, although *the additional buttons can only be individually programmed using Logitech software or another 3rd party configuration software, native windows drivers seem to group each set of 3 on the wheel as a single button*.
-Shifter is absolutely incredible, big improvement over the G25. No more loud click, overall feel is more smooth, padded and a bit stiffer I think.
-Pedal resistance is delivered by pressure cylinders, and each pedal has it's own resistance and resistance curve it seems. Gas is smooth and responsive, brake requires moderately more pressure, clutch seems to have less resistance than the brake but also is a bit smoother as you lean into it.
-Paddles have been adjusted since the G25, fingers no longer bump into them as much/trigger them accidentally
-Small digital LED readout, programmable. Sits on edge of the wheel right above the Logitech logo in center, good for a tach readout, throttle readout, or anything else you might use it for, such as a lap counter. Check out Fanaleds(.)com for better LEd programming and support with some sims and games.
-Stitched leather provides plenty of grip, feels like to the touch

Overall a great buy for around $200 if you either want a goo all around pedal for general gaming use, or you want something more serious for other rally/racing sims. Very satisfied with this thing.

Cons: I took an egg off for a few reasons.

1. Logitech's software is just absolutely terrible. It took me ages to find the right software version (only one, very specific version) that allowed this thing to be programmed and detected.

Yes, I'm aware one revision is for mice an keyboard, and another is for wheels. I'm talking about my process of going through about 6 different versions of the software for wheels. Yeah, their native software didn't install correctly, or installed but apparently didn't (not showing up after install process), or installed but couldn't detect my G27 even though it was and is working flawlessly, and was a general pain in the neck. Until they develop and release an improved software I can't feel good about recommending their peripherals as 5 star (or egg) items.

2. The mounts. My PC desk is extremely bad for wheels and the like, as it has a strange edge/recessed lip that makes it difficult to mount wheels and other devices to it. While the G27 did eventually fit snug enough to take some abuse without popping off (which it didn't, but you can tell when it's going to), the overall process was a pain and the tiny little twist-lock knobs on the wheel portion itself simply do not stay locked all of the time. Occasionally during heavy racing one of them will pop up. Wheel stays put, but it's unnerving in the last lap of a race when your wheels clamp pops up, makes it difficult to focus. I would like to see these either improved or replaced with similar but more secure mounting solution, the twist to lock function doesn't lock very well when I have the clamps turned down tight enough to hold it in place.

Other Thoughts: Overall great, and can recommend, but there are still a few minor things that I feel can be improved.

This is basically a G25 with a whole big bag of improvements, tweaks, new features and overall quality increase.

A+, Looking forward to the Gxx, or whatever is next in the sim line-up.
