Logitech M305 Silver 3 Buttons Tilt Wheel USB Wireless Optical 1000 dpi Mouse

Pros: I've been using this style of mouse from logitec for a while now, and I am so far just as happy with this mouse as all the others. It's simple, reliable, comfortable, and works. What more could you want.

Pros: I hate laptop trackpads!! I've bought Logitech before, and have always been pleased.

Cons: I agree that this mouse could be a bit bigger, but it's not that big of a problem.

Pros: Tiny USB receiver, good range, tilt wheel, very portable, very durable.

Cons: Not large enough to comfortably use as a precision-intensive desktop mouse.

Pros: I had no idea how it would work on my desktop because there is a good 5 feet distance between the computer and the mouse. There was no direct sight between them. No matter. It is working great.

Pros: -Tracks well
-Small, light & slick
-Dongle is TINY, I almost never remove it from my laptop
-Batteries (or should I say battery) lasts quite a while
-Rechargeables work fine
-Ambidextrous
-Favorite feature: in the battery compartment there is a little storage slot for the dongle, if I do remove it from my laptop I know its safe!

Cons: -Almost too small (I have big hands)

Other Thoughts: Especially nice for dual-boot systems. Was going to go with bluetooth, but I go back and forth from Win to Linux pretty frequently & didn't want to have to re-pair the mouse every time.

Pros: Plug n play!! Great for laptops. Simple and sweet.

Pros: - ambidextrous for right and left handed users
- tilt wheel is useful for going back/forward or scrollling side to side if you have a small laptop screen like mine. may require logitech setpoint software. once installed, disable the processes as ive found they make my cpu spike to 99% continuously. the functions will continue to work.
- ridiculously long reception. i can use it through walls and across the room, but i cant see that far. you can probably use this as a remote for presentations since it has left-right scrolling.

Cons: - not laser, but that cant be helped.
- wish it came with logitech setpoints cd, but doesnt. quick download anyway.
- compartment for usb receiver and battery does not close tight. no biggie, just aesthetics.
- only uses one battery. i guess that's how they got it so small. no results yet on how long one battery will last me, but so far ive accidentally left it overnight a few times and it hasnt died. it may be due to the idle low battery modes.
- not combined with a keyboard. i believe logitech has software that can combine transmittance from idependent RF keyboard and mouse into one receiver if you bought them seperately.

Other Thoughts: - well rounded mouse for the average consumer.

Pros: Compact, self containing, long battery life, good looks, plug and play

Cons: It takes up a USB port- if that matters, get Bluetooth. The battery switch is not accessible from the top.

Other Thoughts: I bought mine (different skin) from BB after buying a horrible Bluetooth mouse.

This thing is bloody perfect. The dongle can be left connected to my EEE PC when I put it in the bag, and doesn't cause any problems. If you aren't going to be using the mouse and need the ports, yank out the USB plug and pop the top on the mouse- inside the battery compartment is a slot that you can stick the USB dongle in, keeping perfect track of it, and guaranteeing that you can't separate the mouse and dongle. The bottom of the mouse has a release for the battery cover/ storage compartment and the on/off switch for the batteries.


I've had this thing with me for 10 months, using it daily, and I've changed the batteries ONCE!

In short, when this thing dies/gets stolen, I'm getting another!

Pros: I like this mouse. I have small hands and it fits perfectly. The on and off switch for the battery is super. The micro USB is nice because I don't have to unplug it from my laptop. Light weight with a good response time.

Cons: My only complaint is for whatever reason when I try to put my PC to sleep with the mouse usb in port it will continually wake my PC back up. I have to remove the USB to put my PC to sleep. This is likely a solvable problem if I wasn't too lazy.

Pros: Main reason for purchase is the receiver that plugs into the USB port is very small so it can be left plugged in. Mouse turns off automatically when not in use so it gets great battery life out of a single AA battery. It's comfortable to use although this is subjective. Center roller also clicks left & right which is programmable. Very convenient feature.

Cons: None.
