4 out of 5 eggsGood standard webcam

Pros: What you expect. Camera is pretty good resolution. Audio is quite good over the embedded microphone.

Cons: Hard to set atop LCD monitors. Clip could use a better design. More of a stand than anything.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Price, performs as advertised

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I've had this camera for nearly a year and I've been very happy with the price/performance ratio. I use it primarily with Skype and it functions flawlessly to that end.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes what it's supposd to do.

Pros: I have it hooked to Dorgem for taking motion-detected photos. It works fine and I don't have reason to complain.

Cons: None.

2 out of 5 eggsblue screens

Pros: Small, looks good on top of screen, tiny light. Rightlight feature works good. Driver works fine.

Cons: Logitech application bundle is hopeless on windows XP. Got 4 blue screens in a row just launching the cam, tried other video cards and usb ports. Installing it with driver only and auto updates off did the trick.

Other Thoughts: I guess because XP is no longer supported Logitech did no testing on an XP system, lol. I sort of feel ripped off, can't access any software features.

3 out of 5 eggsOkay for the price

Pros: Very small, image quality decent, built in mic works very well

Cons: Software is horrible and crashes often, doesn't work as well with Skype as Logitech claims it does

Other Thoughts: It's good when it works, and it fits nicely onto any monitor or other surface you might want to perch it on top of. For such a small webcam it has a surprisingly good microphone.

The required Logitech software is appalling. The auto functions don't work at all and every time I start up Skype I have to check to make sure the webcam has a proper exposure, which it inevitably does not. The software routinely crashes whenever I try to make changes and it does not integrate well with Skype, meaning I have to play around with both programs to get the webcam working. This is something I have to do every single time I use the webcam.

For the price it's a good webcam if you can put up with it's quirks, which I can. I would not recommend this to anyone who wants a webcam that they will be using frequently. I use mine occasionally so I'm okay with fiddling around with it but others may not have the patience for the routine you have to go through every time you use it.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Camera works great, Microphone works great

Cons: Clip could have a better design (easily fixed with Velcro)

Other Thoughts: I only use it for Skype. Satisfactory performance for that use at least. My dads bought one after I did

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good Quality, Good Price, and it installed within seconds.

Cons: None that I could see. The webcam is as simple as it gets.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks just fine

Pros: - Inexpensive
- Small (I mean really small). About 2/3rds the size of a credit card in height.
- Quality image for cost
- Works just fine
- Cable length was just right about 4 feet

Cons: Software shouldn't be so confusing when installing. It seems to want you to install the whole suite of software but you don't really need it especially if your just going to use Gmail Chat with video.

Other Thoughts: Overall, the software isn't a big deal but it would be nice to have it be clearer that it isn't required to install all of the programs. Just need the drivers. Otherwise, this thing works great and I think it does a good job.

3 out of 5 eggsDoes not work with Skype 5.x on Windows XP

Pros: Nice picture and audio quality. Works well with Yahoo messenger, but...

Cons: ...does NOT work with Skype version 5.x on Windows XP. Turns out that this has been well documented online. I have the latest drivers so that's not the problem. When you select video settings on Skype, you get a black screen with a rotating circle thing...no picture.

Other Thoughts: Since it works with Yahoo, I'm inclined to think it might be a Skype issue, but that's irrelevant--if you want this for Skype on an XP machine, look elsewhere. Pitty, cause it's a nice cam otherwise.
