1 out of 5 eggsDouble or Nothing

Pros: Good battery life, good size mouse and receiver.

Cons: Middle button double clicks or doesn't click. Doesn't track well on anything other than mousepad.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these and am shopping for replacements. They're still under warranty but the tracking issue is a deal-breaker.

5 out of 5 eggsHighly Recommended

Pros: Wireless.

The Receiver is so small I forget that it's even there.

Stores the receiver inside the mouse, underneath the battery cover.

Battery lasts a significant amount of time.
Have had mouse for two years and I've replaced the battery only twice.

On/Off Switch is much easier and more convenient than just removing a receiver to trigger a switch.

Cons: No notable cons. The mouse performs really well.

Other Thoughts: Would've bought more at the time if I had a larger monetary balance.

5 out of 5 eggsGood quality, smooth movement

Pros: - Transmitter is very small and completely wireless.
- Range is excellent. I tried using the mouse over 10' away and it still worked fine.
- Mouse movements are fluid
- Scroll wheel works well
- Size, shape and texture all make for comfortable usage
- On/off switch
- Only one AA battery

Cons: - Price is a bit higher than I would have liked, but in this case, you definitely get what you pay for. Overall, the value is still good.

Other Thoughts: - I would like one just like this, but with 5 buttons. My prior mouse had the side buttons which were nice for web browsing. Still, that's minor compared to having a comfortable mouse that just works.

Pros: most is light, works well most of the time.......

Cons: there are occasional lag on this mouse, especially when i am using it with my laptop. i am not sure why, but its not as smooth as i thought it would be....

Other Thoughts: over all the mouse is workable, did not give me much problems, except for some lag at times. but it still works so i cant complain.

5 out of 5 eggsIt is a basic mouse, pleased with my choice

Pros: Logitech Branding
Attractive Color
Lightweight
Nano-receiver
Plug and Use

Cons: Will it last for 100,000 gaming clicks?

Other Thoughts: can't keep track of how many mice I have had but I do recall my first quality mouse as a Logitech. They make real good products. Logitech has good service after the sale...among the best. This has a nice size for my smallish man hand. The tracking is different from my previous mouse but that is true when moving from mouse to mouse. Soon I will be used to the M 310 and if I went back to my old mice I would need to acclimate to it. I picked this over the 510 because I don't use more than 3 buttons. The sides are a soft rubber, that is good for gripping. How the mouse will hold up for gaming remains to be seen. 100.000 right clicks isn't asking a lot and I expect this mouse to hold up. The right click could feel more firm? definite? but I expect I will get used to that also. I run a KVM switch and this mouse gives me no issues when switching systems. I like the very small size of the receiver. The signal is powerful enough for me to plug it in down and behind rather than on the desktop with an extender. More desktop space is always a plus

No SetPoint software was included but since it is always out of date the point is moot.

The price was good. No need to go overboard on a mouse. It is a basic mouse and I am pleased with my choice.

3 out of 5 eggsGood for typical users, workable for power users

Pros: -Wireless (radio)
-Small receiver
-No tracking issues
-Doesn't require line-of-sight
-Lightweight
-Takes a single battery
-Supposedly works are various kinds of surfaces

Cons: -Occasionally the mouse will stop working for a few seconds
-Will turn off after a moment of inactivity
-No horizontal scrolling with wheel
-Loud clicking
-Bottom could be smoother

Other Thoughts: My previous mouse was a Logitech line-of-sight mouse (don't remember the model). On that one, the left button started suffering from sticking and producing double-clicks. I chose this M310 because it looked the closest to that model and because of the good reviews. I've since owned this mouse since March.

The tracking on the M310 is what I would expect. There's no perceptible lag. Because it only takes one battery, I was impressed by how much lighter it was than my old mouse. (It's still not as light as my old Wacom, though.)

I like the fact that the connection is radio-based and that the receiver is very small.

I do have some issues with this mouse, however. As a heavy keyboard user, I often don't touch the mouse for a few moments. The problem is that this mouse cuts off after a period of inactivity. So, when I move the mouse after such a period, nothing happens at first.

A second issue is that sometimes the mouse will inexplicably cut off for several seconds. The fact that the LED blinks suggests to me that this isn't supposed to happen.

A third issue is that the wheel doesn't support horizontal scrolling. As a power user, this inconveniences me, even though I've gotten used to it.

A fourth issue, though maybe minor compared to the others, are the loud clicking. This mouse is louder than my previous mouse. It reminds me of a mouse for the 1990s.

Other than addressing the above problems, I would have preferred a glossier bottom to allow for improved movement.

Overall, this is just an average mouse. It gets the job done. If you're an typical user, it will probably work for you. If you're a power user, you might want to spend a little more for something higher-end or look for a newer model.

5 out of 5 eggsExtremely Pleased

Pros: Love the color
It has a nice weight to it
Does not feel flimsy, as if it might break easily
Range is very nice, i was able to go upstairs to show my gf, and the clicks i made upstairs were received downstairs on my PC.
Cheap price

Cons: Absolutely nothing so far...

See other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: I really love this mouse. It has a good range and it has a very comfortable weight to it. The shape fits both hands and it is completely ambidextrous. I am very interested to see the battery life, the mouse takes 1 single AA battery.

As a side-note i would like to say something about this mouse and mice in general...

This mouse plainly has 3 buttons and that is all... It is the main reason i bought this mouse. I am not some huge gamer and i don't really enjoy keyboard and mouse gameplay anyway, i feel more comfortable with a controller, because it allows to have all movement and functions in the palms of your hands.

If you do not need a bunch of extra buttons that are used for various things, then this mouse is perfect. So many mice have extra buttons that are trying to provide unnecessary functions (in my opinion).

If you want something simple that looks nice and feels great, i highly recommend this. I will be buying a few extras as backups for the future, so that i am not forced to buy a mouse with 9 buttons on it.

As a final side-note.... I would like to mention newegg's improved shipping.

The first purchase i ever made on newegg, I bought everything i would need to flash my Xbox 360's DVD drive and a new DVD burner for my PC.

The items i purchased came to me in a single box filled will packing penuts, and another box inside for my items. Now THAT was proper packing.

I don't know whether the packing and shipping varies depending on where your item ships from.... But every item i purchased after that was poorly packed with brown paper that looks like it came from new shoes.

And my new video card was the worst.... they actually sent me my new video card in a bubble wrap envelope! And even worse than that.... they shipped it UPS and then UPS for some reason passed it off to my local post office! So i got my brand new video card in my mailbox.

However, this mouse was shipped through UPS.... and UPS delivered it. It came in a small newegg box that did use the brown shoe paper for packing... but it was below the mouse and on top of it... so it was cushioned properly.

So please newegg, if you plan to use this brown shoe-paper as your packing from now on... please at least pack both sides... and DO NOT send people expensive gfx cards in a bubble-wrap envelope, in the mail.... if you can afford to use a box for a mouse.

Thank you for reading. Sorry for the slightly off topic rant.

5 out of 5 eggsFor small hands

Pros: Wireless is perfect and super responsive, superior Logitech quality, feels great in the hand, nice minimal and clean design, no excessive buttons

Cons: It was smaller than I expected -- I would say it's 3/4 the size of what I would call an average mouse. It worked fine for me but if you have big hands or like to palm your mouse, you might want to step up to a premium Logitech instead of this one

Other Thoughts: Logitech is always good, no exception here
