3 out of 5 eggsGood performance, terrible surface

Pros: Software provides a high level of customization. Allows quick and easy DPI changes.

Cons: Too small for large hands. Surface of mouse feels like sandpaper.

Other Thoughts: Not bad overall, but will be returning for something that doesn't feel like sandpaper.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fast and very responsive.

Cons: none yet.

Other Thoughts: The #4 & #5 buttons are very touchy. Have to remap them for internet browsers. Easy to hit the back button and back out of browsing.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Mouse

Pros: This is by far the most comfortable mouse I've ever used - I have really large hands and they actually fit on this mouse. The buttons are in great spots and everything works as advertised. I'm very happy with it.

Cons: The cord is stiff, making it difficult to use while charging with the usb. The automatic game detection mode in the logitech software does not work at all - (Windows 7 x64) You can store 5 button configurations on the mouse very easily - but the software that allows you to download game specific configurations, store them on your computer and automatically load them when you open a game doesn't work at all

Other Thoughts: The largest complaint I've seen is battery life and the need to recharge often. It doesn't bother me at all, it's a regular AA battery so I just bought 4 energizer rechargeables and a charger for $20 and swap them when the mouse tells me it's low. I much prefer that over a cord.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Gaming Mouse

Pros: This mouse is great for gaming. It has lots of buttons which is great for mmos and they are not all on one side which makes them far more accessible in my opinion. Also this mouse is great for first person shooters because you can switch the dpi on the fly as well as it having the ability to switch between ratching and smooth scrolling on the mouse wheel. There are tons of reviews I read about this mouse that complain about the buttons on this thing not being responsive enough, but I feel that they have a good response. I also think that they cord is not as big as an issue that most people make it out to be. This mouse tracks perfectly with wireless if you don't like the cable, and the cable that comes with the mouse is not as bad as people make it out to be. Also this mouse is sleek and pretty comfortable to use. if you are a palm grip user like myself this mouse will be very comfortable for you.

Cons: The only complaint I have about this mouse is that the leds that show profile are green and not blue like the rest of my setup is. oh well.

5 out of 5 eggsQuite nice

Pros: Easy to charge and use simultaneously.

Charge lasts a good amount of time.

Came with a decent rechargeable AA.

Ready to go out of the box with decent default profiles (which can be customized)

Cons: Wired cable is fairly short compared to other Logitech G-series mice.

With my large hands, this mouse could be a little bit bigger (From palm to fingertip), but will be perfect for the average consumer.

Other Thoughts: While using a g400 at work, I figured I would get the wireless g700 for home use since I keep my tower tucked away. Best choice ever.

4 out of 5 eggsstiff chord

Pros: This mouse is very large if you have big hands or prefer a more comfy mouse. It has a nice medium wieght to it not too light or heavy. It has a tactile feel (comparable to painted over sand)

Cons: the usb cord it comes with is really stiff and i mean REALLY stiff . I leave it plugged in while im playing and the cord sometimes will be up against soemthing on my desk and prevent me from looking the direction i want. I wish it came with a more bendable/braded cable like on my G9X. this particular attribute makes first person shooters kind of annoying at times.

Other Thoughts: a little over priced but you get what you pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsLove the G700

Pros: -Shape, fits in my hand so nicely.

-Buttons, I use every single one of the buttons on the mouse. It's so helpful.

-Wireless, I was worried a wireless would effect gaming performance, but it's 100% accurate and never fails.

-Battery indicator, probably one of my favorite features so you don't go into a tournament/scrim with low battery.

-Battery life, lasts quite awhile for a performance gaming mouse.

Cons: -Battery, if you don't watch your battery life, then it can give out on you at the worst moments. I have 4 rechargeable batteries on the wall right next to me so I literally just switch the battery every 3 days. (Done so for a year)

-Binding, you have to bind the top two side buttons to use them. Not really a con, but I spent like a month thinking they didn't work lol

-Material, it's a really nice and sturdy material, but after a year I found that the texture material on the outside has started to rub off where my thumb is. Not a huge deal, plus you can also sandpaper it all off if you don't like the texture.

Other Thoughts: I could not be more impressed with this mouse. Awesome gaming performance with none of those pesky wires that keep you from moving just a little more to the left. I'd recommend this to anyone, worth every penny.

2 out of 5 eggsHate the limited battery lifespan

Pros: Customizable buttons
Multiple speed settings for different projects without having to go into the mouse menu each time
Highly responsive
Uses the same power adapter as my Android phone :D :D :D

Cons: I transitioned to the G700 mouse from the MX series and was greatly disappointed with the battery lifespan on this one (my MX mouse literally goes for a month, even after 5 years, without needing a single charge, even after continuous gaming for weeks on end).

Thinking it was a fluke with the one I purchased, I had it replaced through warranty. The result was the same. This mouse will punk out on me after about four hours of solid gaming, and usually before the day is done with regular computer use (we all have days spent vegetating in front of the pc, admit it).

Granted, you can still use it while plugged in to charge, but it makes for a less maneuverable mouse in-game.

Other Thoughts: Aside from the battery issue, do note that this Logitech mouse type (perhaps all of them) does not have a sealed laser underneath. There is a little hole under the mouse where the laser reflectors are, and if you have pets, hair will get trapped in there no matter how much you clean. It obscures the laser until you pull yourself away from what you're doing and tweeze it out.
