4 out of 5 eggsI like it

Pros: Smooth fluid movement

Cons: If wireless, the battery is too short. They really should have gone with a 2 battery system, but I run this as wired so I don't have any issues with that.

Other Thoughts: I have had many mice over the years, Razor, Logitech, ect... and I have to say this is my favorite I have owned. Granted that the wireless sucks on it, I run it wired so i don't worry about the battery life. The battery for me just adds a little weight for me.

I have had this mouse for over 2 years and love it. I see all these people having issues, but fortunately I can say I have had no experiences like they have and I am a heavy gamer. Maybe there is outside factors that caused issues for them, who knows. I do recommend this to others that are looking for a pretty cheap mouse that works great for gaming.

3 out of 5 eggsFantastic when it worked - BUTTONS!!!

Pros: Great feel and Response, fantastic placement of buttons and several profiles to set up different sensitivity for.
Oh, and BUTTONS! 4 Thumb buttons and 4 index finger buttons... AWESOME!

Cons: The right mouse button started wearing out after 1 year of moderate use.
I first noticed issues when right clicking to aim in Borderlands 2 and Zero was SPAMMING the aim for his weapon.
Still works great for office work, but it's utterly worthless as a gaming mouse... Er, except for adventure games.

It is, apparently, a WELL documented issue with this model. Something to do with poor placement of the right button pad and poor materials for the rubber receptor-thing.

Other Thoughts: I've relegated this "GAMING" mouse to the office applications ONLY pile and purchased a refurbished G9, it's still one of the best gaming mice I've ever owned.
I'd be wary to drop another $100 on a Logitech "gaming" mouse

2 out of 5 eggsBattery Life is Pathetic

Pros: Good gaming mouse
Lots of buttons and customizations

Cons: Quite possibly one of the worst mice I've ever owned. The battery life is beyond ridiculous. I cannot go more than two hours on a charge (yes, I've put in NEW rechargeable batts). I've had cheap MS gaming mice that last for days and still run perfectly fine.

Why call it a wireless mouse if you must keep a USB cord plugged in all the time?

It does great for games, etc, but I spent the money on a WIRELESS product, not a wired.

2 out of 5 eggsGood while it lasted

Pros: -Smooth

Cons: -Left button failed
-Corded mode is horrible for gaming because of cord thickness.

Other Thoughts: I used this mouse for probably 6mo to a year. I enjoyed it while it worked properly. The left mouse button had a double click issue. When click and holding, it would register a double click. You can see how this would be annoying for click and dragging. Every time you click to drag a file, it opens the file. Super annoying. Logitech did replace my mouse but by the time i got the replacement, I had moved to the Kone XTD and i won't be going back.

2 out of 5 eggsWarranty Disaster

Pros: 4 side buttons
macro recording is easy with Logitech Software
solid feel in the hand

Cons: G6 button popped out after a year of use
warranty is a pain to get resolved

Other Thoughts: The G6 button popped out and I was unable to get it working again myself so I started a claim. Customer Service hung up on me a half dozen times before I finally got someone wanting to talk. Sent pictures of the mouse as well as my NewEgg receipt. Now 4 days shy of a full month I get an email asking for the serial #, P/N and M/N. Why would you wait almost a month after receiving pictures to ask for basic information? Absolute nightmare. I own a G15, G13, G700 and a G930 which was also just replaced. The headset is already on an auction site and once I get this mouse sorted that replacement will be on an auction site as well. Bummed I bought the G13 recently as I'm now dumping everything Logitech and I'll go other routes. I appreciate having one software running all my peripherals but I can't do this again.

1 out of 5 eggsDefective

Pros: Great comfort and functions.

Cons: Will break and double click issue on left mouse button defect has been confirmed by Logitech tech support. Its designed to break just out of warranty. For the price, and service I received. Look elsewhere

Other Thoughts: Buy something else.. not this or the G700s

2 out of 5 eggs2 year mouse

Pros: Perfect right hander
4 buttons on the left side is awesome
not TOO many buttons just enough to play with though
not an FPS guy but the sensitivity features are cool
the mouse ACTUALLY registers as a WIRED mouse when its plugged in, and a wireless mouse of course when not. Unlike an xbox controller that is just a wireless controller charging.

Cons: 2 YEAR MOUSE AT BEST!!!! YUK!!! bought this mouse because i loved it... and the stories are true!!! right after the 2 year warrenty is up goodbye right click... it will give out on you FAST as that warenty falls off. and there is nothing logitechs support will do with you after that. buy a new 100$ mouse. you better off buying a razor for 45$.

Other Thoughts: loved logitech until i had to deal with their support... eew...

3 out of 5 eggsLasted less then 4yrs

Pros: Comfortable, accurate, lots of buttons, high DPI, good driver support

Cons: Fragile, short battery life, high acceleration at high DPI, stutters, lag when connected through a hub

Other Thoughts: Bought 2-10-2011 / Died 11-11-2014 --- It started jumping all over the screen and the driver stopped detecting it. Then I noticed the lights would blink all red every 10 seconds or so. It is sad that the more you spend on a Logitech product the shorter the life span is.
Was a great mouse while it lasted as long as you kept the DPI under 4000 any higher the stutter and acceleration was notable.

1 out of 5 eggsStopped Tracking

Pros: Solid feel and build, does not feel like a cheap piece of plastic. Best scroll wheel feel and functionality.

Cons: Completely stopped tracking! What good is a mouse if all you can do is left and right click?
